What we’re going to do

  1. Research how to expand carbon.txt for this standardized data, and review the protocol with experts
  2. Implement support in our own tooling for carbon.txt
  3. Surface information in our own platform as a reference OSS implementation

Why do this?

  • Search is a key way people find new information.
  • Structured sustainability data is useful, but it needs to be discoverable
  • Once it’s easily discoverable, the value of the data can be realised by anyone
