Welcome to the first annual TurboProps Hockey Charity Golf Event. The TurbroProps are a adult hockey club that play at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube who are interested in giving back to the great South East Michigan community. This years event will benefit The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor.
The Cancer Support Community is our community’s only comprehensive resource devoted to supporting the needs of people with cancer, their caregivers and children – all free of charge. The Cancer Support Community is a resource for education and information, a place to gain support and nurturance, and a place to learn how to live fully with a cancer diagnosis. The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor was founded locally by a group of community volunteers who have each been personally touched by cancer, and who experienced the need for services that did not exist in this community. CSC – Ann Arbor opened its’ doors in 2007. In 2018 alone the Cancer Support Community served over 830 people impacted in our community.
The inaugural TurboProp event will be held on July 27, 2019 at the Deme Acres Golf Course in Petersburg, MI. The event will feature a 4 person scramble for participants, special mini games along the course, a silent auction/raffle, and a meal. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor.
