Seated at Mohawk

  • If a student would like to earn college credit without leaving Mohawk, they may enroll in courses taught by  Marion Technical College faculty or  Mohawk teachers who are certified to teach college courses through Rhodes State or Tiffin University.  Students must meet minimum admission requirements for these classes.  
  • Below is a tentative list, which is subject to change and is dependent on enrollment for the 2025-26 school year.  Students will be informed of changes or additions of CCP at Mohawk courses.

�Rhodes State College- Taught by Ms. Gase  All courses are 3 college semester hrs. and one HS Credit

  • Applications will be completed with Ms. Gase and Ms. Zellner once interest has been determined.  Students must have completed Spanish 3 or have special permission of the instructor Transcripts though Parchment.
  • SPN1010- Beginning Spanish Language 1 SPN1020- Beginning Spanish Language 2�

Marion Technical College -   All courses are 3 college semester hours and one high school credit hour

Taught by MTC Instructor: All courses are tentative until enrollment numbers are collected and the schedule is decided.  Courses require a minimum number of students to be seated at Mohawk.  If number is not met the course could be cancelled or offered online. New MTC Student- MTC Asks me for Transcript once application is complete. Current MTC students- contact Tyler at MTC to let her know what you want ot take in the fall semester.

Fall 2025: PSY 1100   Intro. To Psychology, ENG 1000  English Comp. I, ECN 2000  Microeconomics

Spring 2026: COM 1400 Oral Communication, POL 1000  American Government, ENG 1100 English Comp. II 

MTC will come to Mohawk to give the ACCUPLACER for students who have completed the application process before March 1st.  Testing will take place later in March

Classes will take up two periods in a student’s schedule when MTC sends an instructor.

Taught by Mrs. Naugle- All courses are 3 college semester hrs. and one HS Credit. One period daily

Fall 2025: BIO1050 Prin. of Bio and Chem Spring 2026: BIO1200 Human Biology

  • If your student is interested in an Associate's Degree or working towards one, it is best to plan it all out with the college of your choice.  The above classes work into an associate degree at Marion Technical College.
  • Current MTC student?  You do not fill out an application for next year but you may need test scores for certain classes.�

Tiffin University -   All courses are 3 college semester hours and one high school credit hour

  • All courses are tentative until enrollment numbers are collected and the schedule is decided.   Complete Application each year and send Transcript through Parchment.
  • The Math courses will be taught by Mrs. Hanke. 
  • These classes require a placement score on the ACT Math subtest or the Accuplacer.

Fall 2025: Spring 2026:

MAT181 College Algebra   MAT273 Applied Statistics

�Juniors will be taking the ACT at Mohawk in February.  Students should use their MyACT account to send scores to Tiffin.
