By addressing disparities in care access, promoting mental wellness, and fostering community networks, the program seeks to enhance prenatal care and health equity.
E.M.P.O.W.E.R. �(Empowering Medical Pathways through Opportunity, Workforce, Equity, and Resilience)
The E.M.P.O.W.E.R. Workforce Development Initiative leverages Jenks Park Pediatrics to create economic advancement pathways for underserved Central Falls residents. By valuing lived experience, cultural diversity, and language skills, it addresses workforce shortages while promoting educational equity and healthcare careers.
A.S.S.I.S.T. �(Advancing Support for Student-athletes through Integrated Services and Thriving Pathways)
The A.S.S.I.S.T. Initiative, a partnership between Central Falls Children’s Foundation and Project Goal, aims to empower Central Falls youth through integrated healthcare, mentorship, education, and athletics. By expanding pediatric care, providing accessible mental health support, promoting healthy lifestyles, and preparing students for college and career pathways, the initiative addresses critical gaps in youth wellness and development. Using soccer as a culturally rooted engagement tool, the program fosters long-term community empowerment and sustainable growth.
B.R.O.T.H.E.R.�(Building Resilience, Overcoming Trauma, Healing, Empowerment & Restoration)
The Central Falls Children’s Foundation B.R.O.T.H.E.R. Initiative promotes mental wellness among young Black and Brown men aged 16 to 26 by providing culturally responsive support through Jenks Park Pediatrics. It addresses systemic barriers and stigma surrounding mental health by offering accessible wellness education, mentorship, and crisis management. The initiative aims to engage at least 100 participants in its first year, fostering emotional resilience and building culturally rooted support networks through trusted, community-based care.
A.L.E.R.T. �(Access, Literacy, Empowerment, Respect, Trust)
The Central Falls Children’s Foundation’s A.L.E.R.T. Initiative is a culturally responsive program focused on increasing vaccination rates, health literacy, and preventative care among underserved communities in Central Falls. Through accessible, community-centered services built on Access, Literacy, Empowerment, Respect, and Trust, the initiative aims to empower individuals to advocate for their health, while fostering long-term partnerships and trust. With a hands-on, compassionate approach, the A.L.E.R.T. Initiative addresses healthcare inequities and strives to build a healthier, more informed community.
B.A.L.A.N.C.E.�(Body, Awareness, Lifestyle, Access, Nutrition, Care, Empowerment)
The Central Falls Children’s Foundation B.A.L.A.N.C.E. Initiative is a comprehensive wellness program designed to promote balanced physical health, mental wellness, and nutrition for underserved communities. Using the B.A.L.A.N.C.E. Framework—Body, Awareness, Lifestyle, Access, Nutrition, Care, and Empowerment—this initiative provides culturally relevant nutrition education, accessible fitness programs, and compassionate mental health support. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, the initiative aims to bridge wellness gaps, empower individuals, and create lasting positive change across Central Falls.
