HOW TO SOLVE MY FINANCIAL PROBLEMS

THE RIGHTFUL OWNER OF ALL THINGS

Man usually claims property ownership however, ��who is the �rightful owner �of all things?

Psalms 24:1-2

“The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.”

What does �God say about �the silver and gold that man claims?

Haggai 2:8

“The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.”

What should we never say if we have prospered financially and what should we recognize?

Deuteronomy 8:11-14

“Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

Deuteronomy 8:17-18

And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

On what basis does God claim everything as His?

1. Because He created us. �Psalm 100:3.
2. Because we were redeemed with the precious blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:18-19.
3. For in him we live, and move, and have our being. �Acts 17:28.

What should I ask myself when I see what Jesus has done and continues to do for me every day?

Psalms 116:12-14

“What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?

I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.

I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.”

STEWARDS OF �GOD'S PROPERTY

What should we do with our bodies, property, time and money? �What title was given to us?

1 Peter 4:10

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”

MY BODY

• I am God’s property.
• I glorify God with my body and care for it properly.
• I don’t weaken my body, nor �do I destroy my vital energy by �consuming things detrimental �to my health.
• I use my body and its strength to �collaborate in God’s plan for �the salvation of the world.

MY TIME

• God gives me six days to work �and devote to my own interests.
• God claims the Sabbath, the �seventh day, as His own. �By dedicating this day to my �own interests and not to Him, �I am stealing from the time �that belongs to Him.
• I dedicate some time each day to speaking �to others about the plan of salvation.

MY TALENTS

• I use my God-given talents to speak, sing, help the sick, instruct children, etc. to help proclaim the kingdom of God.
• Every day I do something for �God; I speak to others of the �love of Jesus and teach �them about the great truths �I learn in His word. �I feel happy and my talents are developing!

MY MONEY

• We should also give account of the money entrusted to us, as we are His stewards.
• Do we use our money selfishly, �or are we willing to collaborate �in proclaiming the message �of God through the means �the Creator gave us?

MI CUERPO

How do we answer the question in Psalm 116:12: “What shall I render unto to the Lord for all His benefits towards me?” �What we respond?

“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”

Proverbs 3:9-10

THE �DIVINE PLAN

What portion of the property God has entrusted to us does He claim for Himself?

Leviticus 27:30-32

“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord.

And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever �passeth under the rod, the tenth �shall be holy unto the Lord.”

What is the tithe �used for?

Numbers 18:20-24

“And the Lord spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel. And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, �for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.

Números 18:20-24

But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance. But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the Lord, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.”

What was the tithe used for in the �New Testament?

1 Corinthians 9:13-14

“Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.”

Long before the days of Moses, Abraham and Jacob gave their tithes to God.

What means �are we taught �to give from?

Genesis 14:20

“And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.”

Génesis 28:20-22

“And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God: And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.”

PRINCIPLES REGULATING POVERTY AND PROSPERITY

What is one of the great secrets of material prosperity?

Proverbs 11:24-25

“There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.”

What does the Bible say about the results of generosity?

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”

2 Corinthians 9:10

What blessings does God promise the believers?

Malachi 3:10-12

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit �before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: �for ye shall be a delightsome land, �saith the Lord of hosts.”

What else �should we give?

Malachi 3:8

“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? �In tithes and offerings.”

CONCLUSION

How can we save in the bank of heaven?

Luke 6:38

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

Matthew 25:21

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."
