Mission

  • To provide meaningful competition experiences that inspire dancers to pursue artistic and technical excellence.
  • To cultivate dedication, discipline, and an understanding of the commitment required at the highest levels of dance.
  • To challenge talented and dedicated dancers to reach their fullest potential while proudly representing PPDC.

JCT/PPDC Commitment

  • Dancer commitment is for the season; no refunds for dropping
  • Additional Acro/Contemp class required
  • Attending competition workshops/galas/classes may be required
  • Excellent attendance is mandatory
    • Provide 24 hour notice for any absences; more than 3 absences will result in dismissal
  • Make-ups:
    • Soloist make-ups may be coordinated as per coach’s availability & discretion
  • In case of Coach cancelation/RAD exam conflict, a make-up will be scheduled
  • Extra rehearsals may be requested by Coaches (additional cost)

  • Nutcracker Rehearsal/Performance: December 9-12

Communication

  • All communication will be through the PPDC Whatsapp channel
  • There will be an announcements page for everyone, then sub communities including one just for parents, one for all students, and one for each ensemble as dancers see fit.

Tuition and Payments

Tuition and Payments

  • Membership: There is a $330 JCT/PPDC Membership Fee per dancer to help cover administrative costs
  • Rehearsal Fees: We will adjust according to table below if the number of dancers changes during the year
  • Payments: The first installment is due before Aug or before your June/July soloist summer choreography.
  • Costume Fees: Approximately $100/costume (most common) to $450 for specialty costume (Vocational dancers)
  • Competition Fees: Approximately $45/dancer per ensemble and $100/dancer per solo (exact fees available in fall)
