Room 11 Visits MOTAT

Xanthe

On Thursday we went to MOTAT to learn about machines. Machines like wedges, pulleys, and axles and heaps of other things. We got to go on the tram. We ate under a big white tent. Inside were heaps of patterns. After that we went on a tram.

On Thursday Room 11 Went to Motat with our parents. A lady come in the tent. She told us stuff about MOTAT.

Indy

There was a building called Machines and there were ropes with knots. That was my favourite thing because we could climb and sit on the knots. There was a bar under some of it so we could stand on it. I liked our meeting place too because it was a big white tent and that is where we ate our food. There was this room where we got to learn about where an axle is on a car and wedges. My favourite part was when we got to make a skateboard and riding on it.

On Thursday room 11 went to MOTAT! When we were there we went into a big white room and put our bags down. Then the lady told us what to do. She let us have some food for 10 minutes while she went to some other people. After that we got into our groups and I was with Lisa, she is Nate’s mom . My favourite part was going on the tram. We saw some people painting something. At 2 o’clock we had some lunch and that was the end of the day.

On Thursday all of room 11 went to MOTAT. There is a big giant marble and you twist it and it goes up.

Hugh

On Thursday Room 11 went to MOTAT and we learned about machines. We had one parent helper. We went on the tram. We got to go past the Zoo on the tram. We got to learn to about machines, pulleys, screws, wheel and axle and inclined plane.

On Thursday 17th, Room 11, Room 16 and Room 10 went to MOTAT because we are learning about simple machines. We learnt that there are six kinds of simple machines like wedges, levers, pulleys, screws, wheel and axles.

On Thursday 19th of August my class went to MOTAT. We went and learned about science. We learnt about a wheel and axle.

On Thursday we went to MOTAT. It was fun. We looked at everything there and we looked at the machines and there was stuff to do there and there was a twisting thing that you can twist up.

On Thursday we went to MOTAT and we went on the tram. We had lunch under a big dome. We saw an old fire truck.

On Thursday we went to MOTAT and we all had a parent each. We saw this big building and there were these things that you could roll around and move.

Tom

In the MOTAT fire station I looked at all the things. There were three fire trucks, tractors and an old pump. In the pump house there were three phones.

Finn

On Thursday we went to MOTAT. We all had a group.We had a number. I was in group 3. We had to go into a room and we got to build simple machines. I was with Aimee, Flynn, Liam and Lucus. We all got to go on a tram and we went on a bus to get to MOTAT.

On Thursday 17th room 11 went to MOTAT for a school trip. My mum came with us. Lucie was in our group. We went there to learn about simple machines. I had fun with my friends and mum. We went to the Pump House. There was a giant wheel in the pump house. The pump house had tons of holes.
