This could be anything from race, religion, family to a team you’re on or the

Sex (male or female)

Biological differences between males and females, such as genitalia and genetic differences.

Gender (cisgender, non-binary, gender fluid, transgender, etc.)

Socially constructed characteristics of women and men, such as norms, roles, and relationships of and between groups of women and men. Varies from society to society and can be changed.

RACE & ETHNICITY

Race (Asian, Black, White, Bi-racial, etc.)

Refers to a person’s biological/ physical characteristics, such as bone structure and skin, hair, or eye color.

Ethnicity (Latino, Jewish, Cherokee, Irish, etc.)

Refers to cultural factors, including nationality, regional culture, ancestry, and language.

(DIS)ABILITY

Physical

(Able-bodied, Multiple Sclerosis, hearing impairment, etc.)

Limitation, or lack of, on a person's physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina.

Emotional

(Anxiety disorder, OCD, anorexia, etc.)

Medical conditions that disrupt a thinking, feeling, or mood; ability to relate to others; and diminished capacity for coping with the ordinary demands of life.

Developmental

(Learning disability, Autism, Down Syndrome, etc.)

A severe, long term disability that can affect cognitive ability, physical functioning, or both.
