      • I realize the importance of breaking down problems instead of doing all at once.

      • It was challenging at first learning JavaScript because it differs from C
      • Debugging was difficult at times, especially when I did not know where the issue was coming from.

My Project

MENA Charity “Catch-All” and quiz

    • A Website that is effectively a “catch-all” for around 20 reputable nonprofits and charities that provide aid in the Middle East and North African (MENA) areas. It also features an AI powered quiz that matches users to a charity
    • Chosen because I wanted to learn about language models and website creation�Topics and technologies learned:
      • html/css/python/google colab/github/language models/AI/Google Cloud

My MAGICal Experience

  • A few bullet points about my experience
    • Highlights:
      • Successfully debugged having Llama’s AI response display on the website
      • Deployed my project to Google Cloud, allowing it to run on any computer without needing to be in a coding environment
    • Lessons:
      • Learned the importance of patience during debugging
      • Discovered the effectiveness of “markdown” formatting for AI models understanding my prompts.
    • Challenges:
      • Overcame significant debugging challenges in both AI integration and Google Cloud deployment
