From April 21 to 25, 2021, Data for Progress conducted a survey of 1,730 likely voters nationally using web panel respondents. This survey included an oversample of likely voters in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Slide 10 - 11: PRO Act

  • Voters support the PRO Act by a margin of thirty percentage points, this includes majorities in AZ, PA, OH, WV

Slide 14 - 20: Voters Disapprove of Amazon Tactics

  • Review tactics Amazon deployed during the unionization campaign, asked likely voters whether they approve or disapprove of them

Slide 22 - 29: Voters support Amazon workers

  • Voters would support future Amazon unionization efforts. The favorables of Amazon drop after voters are told about Amazon’s record on labor.

Democratic voters start with a slightly higher baseline favorable view of Jeff Bezos and Amazon. This creates interesting partisan throughout the survey and points to potential for the formation of a bipartisan coalition in the electorate to take on Amazon.
