We are one of the biggest grassroots football clubs in Surrey with over 650 youth players and 130 adult players registered in 2025-26
We have our own grass pitches, 60x40m 3G pitch and clubhouse and are an important part of the local community
The club is 125 years old and for most of that time has operated from the same site on Long Reach, West Horsley.
Recent milestones include:
We pride ourselves on being a community club where football is accessible for everyone in the local community. We have developed our own Club DNA which has inclusion, enjoyment and participation at its heart. We want to maintain this club ethos whilst trying to expand to meet the demand for football from the local community due to increased interest in the sport and from local population expansion (which is expected to continue significantly). Subject to demand from the local community, we would like to provide football opportunities for groups that are underrepresented at the club (people with disabilities, Low Socio Economic Groups, Culturally Diverse communities, adult females, veterans)

The Club is a member of the Surrey Football Coaches Association which provides CPD opportunities for members throughout the season which our coaches are encouraged to attend.
We have over 200 adults helping with our young people in their teams. Over 70 of these hold a Level 1 or higher Coaching qualification. Every team has at least one FA qualified coach.
In 2025, we started a partnership with Coerver coaching. Horsley FC’s partnership with Coerver Coaching is dedicated to developing confident, creative, and technically skilled players through world-class training made for every child.
Total Projected Income | £210,000-£220,000 |
Total Projected Expenditure | £190,000-£200,000 |
Annual Balance | £10,000-£20,000 |
We use external accountants to do the Club’s book-keeping and we track the financial performance of the Club closely using accounting software (Xero). Our financial objective each year is to run a small cash surplus to invest in improvements. We also set aside £10,000 each year into a sinking fund for 3G carpet replacement.
We have a multiyear sponsorship deal with a local estate agent which covers kit requirements of our adult and U8 teams. This has just been renewed for another 3 seasons running through to the end of the 2025/26 season.
All other teams raise their own sponsorship for kits, usually via players/parent networks from local businesses and we expect this to continue.

We have our own 60x40 3G pitch which each team is allocated a training slot. This is supplemented by a grass training area when weather conditions allow.
Due to continued expansion of the number of teams and players at the Club, we have partnership with two local schools where they provide additional training facilities in exchange for using the Club’s grass pitches during the week on 2 nights a week.
We have our own grass pitches with sufficient capacity for all teams to play their scheduled matches. This is supplemented where necessary due to weather conditions by hire of local council and commercial facilities.
We are looking to increase our 3G space with a new full size 3G pitch. This is an area for development.
We have a WhatsApp Channel which we use for club communications to all members. The Girls section has an active Instagram channel.
