Two thousand years ago

Jesus had been crucified. His disciples (followers) were puzzled and disappointed. All their hopes had been placed in him, but now he lay dead in the tomb. But after three days in the grave, God raised Jesus from the dead. His disciples did not believe that he was alive until they had actually seen him. Then they remembered what Jesus had said to them before his death: “... you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy” (John 16:20).

They were filled with joy when they saw their Lord and Master again! “Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord” (John 20:20).

2000 سال پیش

عیسی مسیح به صلیب کشیده شد. شاگردان مبهوت و نا امید بودند. تمام امیدشان به او بود و حالا او مرده بود. اما بعد از سه روز در قبر، خدا مسیح را از مرگ برخیزانید. شاگردانش تا زمانی که او را ندیده بودند این را باور نمی‌کردند و سپس حرفی که مسیح قبل از مرگ زده بود به خاطرشان آمد: "آمین، آمین، به شما می‌گویم، شما زاری و ماتم خواهید کرد، امّا جهان شادمان خواهد شد؛ شما غمگین خواهید بود، امّا غم شما به شادی بدل خواهد شد" (یوحنا 16: 20).

و آنها زمانی که بار دیگر سرورشان را دیدند از شادی لبریز شدند.

"شاگردان با دیدن خداوند شادمان شدند" (یوحنا 20: 20).

The Lord Jesus is taken into heaven

​

Read the first eight verses of Acts1. The apostles (Jesus’ special disciples) must have been so happy during the 40 days when the Lord Jesus was with them once again. At the end of those 40 days they were standing with their Lord on the Mount of Olives. Suddenly, the Lord Jesus was taken from them, upwards into heaven. They watched as he left the earth until he was hidden from their sight by a cloud. He had been taken from them again. But this time they were neither puzzled nor disappointed.

Luke tells us that the Lord Jesus “parted from them and was carried up into heaven. And they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy” (Luke 24:51,52).

عیسی مسیح به آسمان برده شد

8 آیه اول باب 1 اعمال رسولان را بخوانید. شاگردان (شاگردان مخصوص عیسی مسیح) در 40 روزی که عیسی مسیح دوباره با آنها بود بسیار خوشحال بودند. در انتهای 40 روز آنها در کنار سرور خود بر بالای کوه زیتون ایستاده بودند. ناگهان عیسی مسیح از میان آنها به سمت آسمان برده شد. آنها همانطور که او به سمت آسمان می‌رفت و پشت ابرها پنهان می‌شد او را مشاهده می‌کردند. عیسی مسیح باز از آنها گرفته شده بود، اما این بار محزون و مبهوت نبودند.

لوقا به ما می‌گوید که عیسی مسیح: "در همان حال که برکتشان می‌داد از آنان جدا گشته، به آسمان برده شد. ایشان او را پرستش کردند و با شادی عظیم به اورشلیم بازگشتند" (لوقا 24: 51-52).

The secret of their joy

​

Why were the apostles so joyful at this time? Partly because their sins had been forgiven through the death of Jesus – they would now preach this message of salvation for the rest of their lives. However, this was not the only reason for their joy. While the apostles were watching the Lord Jesus go into heaven, two angels came to them with a message. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).

As the apostles went back to Jerusalem they knew without any doubt that Jesus Christ himself would come back to this earth to reign as king in God’s kingdom. The resurrection of Jesus was God’s guarantee that this would happen.

رمز شادی آنها

چرا شاگردان این بار بسیار خوشحال بودند؟ قسمتی از این خوشحالی به این سبب بود که گناهانشان به واسطه مرگ عیسی مسیح بخشیده شده بود و آنها می‌توانستند از این به بعد پیام رستگاری را تعلیم دهند. اگرچه این تنها دلیل شادی آنها نبود. هنگامی‌که شاگردان به بالا رفتن عیسی مسیح به سمت آسمان نگاه می‌کردند دو فرشته به سمت آنها آمدند تا به آنها پیامی ‌بدهند. آنها گفتند: "ای مردان جلیلی، چرا ایستاده به آسمان چشم دوخته‌اید؟ همین عیسی که از میان شما به آسمان برده شد، باز‌خواهد آمد، به همین‌گونه که دیدید به آسمان رفت" (اعمال رسولان 1: 11).

هنگامی ‌که شاگردان به اورشلیم برگشتند، بدون هیچ شکی می‌دانستند که عیسی مسیح باز به زمین بر می‌گردد و در پادشاهی خدا فرمانروایی می‌کند. رستاخیز عیسی مسیح ضمانتی بود که خدا برای این واقعه داد.

Jesus spoke of his return to this earth

These events happened nearly 2,000 years ago and Christ has not returned yet; but he will come – he said so himself. In Luke 21 Jesus speaks about coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Notice that Jesus went to heaven in a cloud and the angels said that he would return in the same way (Acts 1:9-11). Many of Jesus’ parables also speak of his second coming. The parable of the virgins (Matthew 25:1-13) tells the story of a bridegroom coming to his wedding. In the parable the bridegroom represents the Lord Jesus, and the story warns us that when he comes, there will be some who are not prepared for him. His return is certain and we need to be ready, but we do not know when he will return. Jesus ends the parable with this warning: “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour” (Matthew 25:13).

عیسی مسیح درباره بازگشت خود به زمین سخن می‌گفت

چرا شاگردان این بار بسیار خوشحال بودند؟ قسمتی از این خوشحالی به این اتفاقات حدود 2000 سال پیش افتاد و مسیح هنوز باز‌نگشته است. ولی باز‌خواهد گشت، زیرا خود این را گفته است. در لوقا باب 21 عیسی مسیح از آمدن در ابر همراه با جلال و قدرت سخن می‌گوید. به این نکته دقت کنید که مسیح در ابر به آسمان رفت و فرشتگان گفته بودند که دقیقا به همین شکل باز‌خواهد گشت (اعمال رسولان 1: 9-11). بسیاری از مَثَل‌های عیسی مسیح در مورد بازگشت او سخن می‌گوید، مَثَل باکره‌ها، (متي 25: 1-13) داستان دامادی را می‌گوید که به جشن عروسی می‌آید. در این مثل داماد عیسی مسیح است و این داستان به ما هشدار می‌دهد که وقتی او می‌آید افراد زیادی آماده حضور او نیستند. بازگشت او حتمی ‌است و ما باید خود را آماده کنیم ولی نمی‌دانیم این بازگشت چه زمانی رخ می دهد. مسیح مَثَل خود را با این هشدار به پایان می‌رساند : "پس بیدار باشید، چون از آن روز و ساعت خبر ندارید" (متی 25: 13).

"آنگاه پسر انسان را خواهند دید که با قدرت و جلال عظیم در ابری می‌آید" (لوقا 21: 27)

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory (Luke 21:27)

The apostle Peter preached about Christ’s return

We read that Peter went to the temple in Jerusalem shortly after the Lord Jesus had gone into heaven. He spoke boldly about the death and resurrection of Jesus to the Jews who had put Jesus to death. In Acts 3:19-21 he says to them, “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.”

Many people today say that Christ will not return to the earth. But God Himself has promised to send the Lord Jesus, and we know that God will keep His promise. Peter says that God is waiting to give time for more people to repent:

“The Lord is not slow to fulfil his promise as some count slowness, but is patient towards you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief …” (2 Peter 3:9,10).

پطرس رسول در مورد بازگشت مسیح تعلیم می‌دهد

در کتاب خواندیم که کمی ‌بعد از بازگشت عیسی مسیح به آسمان پطرس به سمت معبد در اورشلیم رفت. او شجاعانه در مورد مرگ و رستاخیز مسیح با یهودیانی که مسیح را به دام مرگ کشانده بودند، سخن گفت. در اعمال رسولان 13: 19-21 به آنها می‌گوید: "پس توبه کنید و به سوی خدا بازگردید تا گناهانتان پاک شود و ایام تجدید قوا از حضور خداوند برایتان فرا رسد و تا خدا، عیسی، یعنی همان مسیح را که از پیش برای شما مقرر شده بود، بفرستد، که باید آسمان پذیرای او می‌شد تا ایامی‌ که همه چیز بنا بر آنچه خدا از دیرباز به زبان همۀ پیامبرانِ مقدّس خود گفته است، احیا‏ گردد" (اعمال رسولان 3: 19-21).

افراد زیادی امروزه بر این باورند که مسیح باز‌نخواهد گشت. اما خدا وعده بازگشت عیسی مسیح را به ما داده است و ما بر این باوریم که خدا به عهد خود وفا خواهد کرد. پطرس می‌گوید که خدا منتظر است که افراد بیشتری توبه کنند.

"برخلاف گمان برخی، خداوند در انجام وعده‌اش تأخیر نمی‌ورزد، بلکه با شما بردبار است، چه نمی‌خواهد کسی هلاک شود بلکه می‌خواهد همگان به توبه گرایند. امّا روز خداوند چون دزد خواهد آمد، که در آن آسمانها با غریوی مَهیب از میان خواهد رفت و اجرام سماوی سوخته شده فرو خواهد پاشید، زمین و همۀ کارهایش عیان خواهد شد" (2 پطرس 3: 9-10).

The apostle Paul wrote about Christ’s return

In the New Testament there are two letters written by the apostle Paul to the believers at Thessalonica in Greece. In every chapter of these letters Paul mentions the return of the Lord Jesus from heaven. Here are two examples.

پولس رسول در مورد بازگشت مسیح می‌نویسد

در عهد جدید دو نامه توسط پولس رسول به ایمانداران تسالونیکیه در یونان نوشته شده است. در هر باب از این نامه‌ها پولس بازگشت عیسی مسیح از آسمان را متذکر می‌شود. در ذیل 2 مثال را می‌بینید:

1 تسالونیکیان 4: 16"زیرا خداوند، خود با فرمانی بلندآواز و آوای رئیس فرشتگان و نفیر شیپور خدا، از آسمان فرود خواهد آمد.

آنگاه نخست مردگانِ در مسیح، بر خواهند خاست".

and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

2 تسالونیکیان 1: 7-10"... زمانی واقع خواهد شد که خداوندْ عیسی ... از آسمان ظهور کند. او خدانشناسان و نافرمانانِ به انجیل خداوند ما عیسی را کیفر خواهد داد... در آن روز که او می‌آید تا در مقدسین خود تمجید شود و در میان همۀ آنان که ایمان آورده‌اند، مایۀ شگفتی گردد“

2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 … when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven … inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus … when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at among all who have believed …

1 Thessalonians 4:16 speaks of the resurrection of the dead at the coming of Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 shows that some will be punished by Christ when he returns and others will welcome him.

What will happen when the Lord Jesus Christ returns?

The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ will be a tremendous event. Many who are dead will be raised. The lives of everyone living at that time will be changed. It will be a very joyful time for some, but also a time when God brings His judgements on the world. This is sad but necessary. Without God’s judgements, sin and its effects will never be destroyed. Christ will raise from the dead those who have known the Gospel. People who have died not knowing the Gospel will remain dead – they will not be raised. This is because the Lord Jesus is coming to judge people on their response to the Gospel (Romans 2:16). People who have never heard the Gospel will not be judged on their response to it. If they have died, then they have gone for ever – they are “like the beasts that perish” (Psalm 49:20).

After the resurrection there will be two groups of people on the earth:

• people who have known the Gospel (both those who were raised from the dead and those who are living when Christ returns)
• people living at the time who do not know the Gospel.

We will look at what will happen to these groups.

هنگام بازگشت مسیح چه اتفاقی خواهد افتاد؟

دومین بازگشت عیسی مسیح رویدادی بزرگ خواهد بود. مرده‌ها زنده می‌شوند و زندگی تمام افرادی که در آن زمان زنده‌اند نیز تغییر خواهد کرد. برای بعضی‌ها زمان شادی خواهد بود، به خصوص وقتی که خدا داوری‌اش را در دنیا اعمال کند. غم انگیز است، اما ضروریست. بدون داوری خدا گناه و عواقبش هرگز از بین نخواهد رفت.

عیسی مسیح کسانی که کلام را می‌شناختند دوباره زنده خواهد کرد. افرادی که بدون شناخت کلام خدا مردند برخیزانده نخواهند شد و افرادی که به کلام ایمان آوردند داوری خواهد شد (رومیان 2: 16). کسانی که هرگز از کلام چیزی نشنیده بودند داوری نمی‌شوند و اگر مردند پس برای همیشه مرده اند. آنها "چارپایان را مانَند که از میان می‌روند" (مزامير 49: 20).

بعد از رستاخیز دو گروه بر زمین به وجود می‌آیند:

• کسانی که کلام را می‌شناختند (هم کسانی که دوباره زنده شدند و هم کسانی که هنگام بازگشت مسیح زنده بودند).
• کسانی که هنگام بازگشت مسیح زنده هستند ولی از مسیح چیزی نمی‌دانند.

و حال نگاهی به اتفاقاتی که برای این دو گروه می‌افتد می‌اندازیم.

People who have known the Gospel

​

Jesus Christ will summons to judgement everyone who has known the Gospel (both those resurrected and those alive when he returns)

(a) True believers will be given immortal life – Baptized believers who have tried faithfully to follow the example of the Lord Jesus will receive a place in God’s kingdom on earth. There will be great joy. They will be changed to share a nature like God Himself – a nature that cannot sin and cannot die, and will have no pain or suffering.

(b) People who have known but refused to obey the Gospel will be rejected – These are people who have known the Gospel but decided not to follow the Lord Jesus. They will not be given a place in God’s kingdom because they chose to ignore the Bible message. They will depart from the judgement in shame, knowing they have not been able to share in the blessings of God’s kingdom. They will then die for ever. The Old Testament prophet Daniel speaks of the reward of the righteous and the punishment of the wicked: “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2).

کسانی که کلام را شناختند

عیسی مسیح تک تک افرادی که کلام را می‌شناختند داوری می‌کند (تمام کسانی که دوباره زنده شدند و تمام کسانی که در زمان بازگشت او زنده اند)

الف: ايمانداران واقعی زندگی جاودان دریافت خواهند کرد - ایمانداران تعمیدی که وفادارانه تلاش کردند تا از دستورات عیسی مسیح پیروی کنند جایی در پادشاهی خدا بر روی زمین دریافت خواهند کرد و شادی عظیم به وجود خواهد آمد. آنها ذاتی همانند ذات خدا بدست خواهند آورد، ذاتی که هرگز گناه نمی‌کند و هرگز نمی‌میرد و هیچ درد و عذابی هم بر او نیست.

ب: افرادی که کلام را می‌شناختند ولی از قبول کردن آن سر باز زدند، رد خواهند شد - اینها کسانی هستند که به طور کامل کلام را می‌شناختند اما تصمیم بر پیروی نکردن از عیسی مسیح گرفتند. آنها جایی در پادشاهی خدا نخواهند داشت چون تصمیم گرفته بودند که به پیام کتاب مقدس بی‌اعتنا باشند. آنها با شرمساری از داوری جدا می‌شوند و می‌دانند که از برکات پادشاهی خدا هیچ سهمی ‌ندارند. آنها برای همیشه می‌میرند.

دانیال نبی در عهد عتیق در مورد پاداش درستکاران و جزای شریران می‌گوید:

"و بسیاری از آنان که در خاکِ زمین خوابیده‌اند بیدار خواهند شد، اما اینان برای زندگی جاودان و آنان برای خجالت و حقارت جاودان" (دانیال 12: 2).

People alive when Christ returns who do not know the Gospel

In His mercy God will allow some people from all nations to live as mortal people in His kingdom when Christ reigns as king. Others will be punished and die.

​

1. The Jews

(a) Some of the Jews will accept Christ as their king – Jesus Christ will come back at a time when the nation of Israel is in a desperate state. They will be surrounded by enemies on all sides. The Lord Jesus Christ, with his power, will overcome those who are fighting against them. Then many of the Jews will realise at last that Jesus really is their promised king. They will repent of their nation’s sin in crucifying him and gladly accept him as their king. The prophet Zechariah says,

“… when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn” (Zechariah 12:10).

These Jews will be allowed to live in God’s kingdom as mortal people when Jesus Christ reigns as king.

افراد زنده‌ای که هنگام بازگشت مسیح از کلام چیزی نمی‌دانند

خدا به واسطه رحمت خود از تمامی ‌قوم‌ها به بعضی از افراد فانی اجازه خواهد داد تا در پادشاهی خود که عیسی مسیح بر آن حکمرانی خواهد کرد زندگی کنند، بقیه افراد مجازات شده و می‌میرند.

1. یهودیان

الف- برخی از یهودیان عیسی مسیح را بعنوان پادشاه خود انتخاب می‌کنند- زمانیکه قوم اسرائیل در بدترین شرایط خود است، عیسی مسیح بازخواهد گشت. عیسی مسیح با قدرت خود تمامی‌ دشمنان را شکست خواهد داد و آن موقع است که تعداد زیادی از یهودیان در نهایت متوجه می‌شوند که مسیح در واقع همان پادشاه وعده داده شده آنها می‌باشد. از گناه قومشان در به صلیب کشیدن مسیح توبه می‌کنند و با شوق فراوان او را بعنوان پادشاه خود انتخاب می‌کنند. زکریای نبی می‌گوید: "و بر خاندان داوود و بر ساکنان اورشلیم روح فیض و دعاهای ملتمسانه را خواهم ریخت و بر من که نیزه‌ام زدند خواهند نگریست و برای من مانند کسی که به جهت تنها فرزندش به سوگ نشیند، سوگواری خواهند کرد و همچون کسی که به جهت نخست‌زاده‌اش بگرید، به تلخی خواهند گریست" (زکریا 12: 10).

این یهودیان قادر خواهند بود در پادشاهی خدا هنگامی ‌که عیسی مسیح فرمانروا است بعنوان افراد فانی زندگی کنند.

They will live in the land of Israel and become the chief of the nations. Israel’s capital city, Jerusalem, will become the capital of the world. It will be the centre of worship for all the people who live in God’s kingdom. It will be a time of great happiness for the Jews, after all their suffering. As mortal people they will still have human nature and be able to sin, and they will still grow old and die. They will have the opportunity to accept the Lord Jesus as their saviour, and some will later be given immortal life.

(b) Jews who refuse to accept Christ as their king will be punished – The people of Israel who reject the Lord Jesus Christ when he returns will receive God’s judgements and be destroyed. They will never live again.

2. The Gentiles

(a) Some Gentiles will accept Christ’s rule – God will allow these Gentiles to live as mortal people in His kingdom when Jesus Christ reigns as king. They will be taught God’s ways by the Lord Jesus and the immortal believers. They will have the opportunity to accept the Lord Jesus as their saviour. Some will later be given immortal life.

آنها در سرزمین اسرائیل زندگی خواهند کرد و رهبر ملت‌ها خواهند شد. پایتخت اسرائیل، اورشلیم، پایتخت دنیا خواهد شد. اورشلیم برای تمام کسانی که می‌خواهند در پادشاهی خدا زندگی کنند مرکز پرستش خواهد بود. بعد از تمامی‌ رنج‌هایشان این زمان بزرگی برای شادمانی همه یهودیان خواهد بود. بعنوان افراد فانی آنها هنوز ذات بشری دارند و قادر به گناه هستند، پیر می‌شوند و می‌میرند. این فرصت به آنها داده خواهد شد که عیسی مسیح را بعنوان نجات‌دهنده خود بپذیرند و به بعضی از آنها بعدا زندگی جاودان داده خواهد شد.

ب- یهودیانی که عیسی مسیح را بعنوان پادشاه خود انتخاب نمی‌کنند مجازات خواهند شد- یهودیانی‌ که عیسی مسیح را رد می‌کنند توسط خدا داوری می‌شوند و از بین می‌روند و هرگز قادر به زندگی دوباره نیستند.

2. غیر‌یهودیان

الف- برخی از غیر‌یهودیان قوانین مسیح را قبول خواهد کرد- خدا به این غیر‌یهودیان اجازه خواهد داد که بعنوان افراد غيرفانی در پادشاهی او که عیسی مسیح فرمانروای آن است زندگی کنند. آنها راه و روش خدا را توسط عیسی مسیح و رهبران جاودانه‌اش یاد خواهند گرفت. شانس پذیرفتن مسیح بعنوان نجات‌دهنده به آنها نیز داده خواهد شد. بعضی از آنها بعدا جاودانه می‌شوند.

(b) The Gentiles who do not want Christ to rule over them will be punished – The Gentile nations who do not want the Lord Jesus Christ to rule over them when he returns to set up God’s kingdom on earth will fight against him. God’s judgements will be poured out on these people and there will be a time of great trouble on the earth. After suffering the wrath of God for a short time, they will be completely destroyed. They will not suffer in fire for ever – this is not Bible teaching as you will learn from later lessons.

ب- غیر‌یهودیانی که نمی‌خواهد عیسی مسیح بر آنها حکمرانی کند مجازات خواهند شد- قوم غیر‌یهودی که نمی‌خواهند عیسی مسیح بر آنها حکمرانی کند با او مبارزه خواهند کرد. مجازات خدا بر سر این افراد نازل می‌شود و بلایای زیادی بر زمین نیز نازل می‌شود. بعد از زجر کشیدن از غضب خدا آنها کاملا نابود خواهند شد. ولی نه اینکه برای همیشه در آتش بسوزند. همانطوری که در درس‌های بعدی می‌خوانید این از آموزه‌های کتاب مقدس نیست.

What will happen to you and me?

​

We have a choice.

​

• If we are baptized into the Lord Jesus Christ (Lesson 31 is about baptism) and are faithful to him now, then he will accept us into God’s kingdom at his return. He will change us to be like himself – we will live for ever and be unable to sin.
• If we are not baptized or are not faithful to him now, then he will reject us at his return and we will die for ever. Part of our punishment is that we shall see the glory of God’s kingdom before we die but will never be part of it.

چه بر سر من و شما می‌آید؟

• اگر در عیسی مسیح تعميد بگیریم (درس 31 در مورد تعمید است) و به او ایمان بیاوریم او هنگام بازگشت خود ما را در پادشاهی قبول خواهد کرد. او ذات ما را همانند ذات خود تغییر خواهد داد و ما برای همیشه زندگی خواهیم کرد و قادر به گناه نخواهیم بود.

Summary

• عیسی مسیح به زمین بازخواهد گشت. هنگامی‌که می‌آید به ایمانداران واقعی زندگی جاودان خواهد داد و آنها در پادشاهی خدا سهیم خواهند بود.

• افرادی که کلام را می‌شناختند ولی از اطاعت کردن آن سر باز زدند رد شده و خواهند مرد.

​

• یهودیانی که زنده هستند و عیسی مسیح را بعنوان پادشاه در زمان بازگشت او قبول می‌کنند حق زندگی در پادشاهی خدا بعنوان انسان‌های فانی به آنها داده خواهد شد. مسیح آنها را رهبر قوم‌ها می‌سازد. یهودیانی که او را رد کردند مجازات می‌شوند و می‌میرند.

• غیر‌یهودیانی که قوانین مسیح را پذیرفتند اجازه خواهند داشت تا در پادشاهی خدا بعنوان انسان‌های فانی زندگی کنند. راه و روش خدا توسط عیسی مسیح و ایمانداران جاودانه‌اش به آنها آموخته خواهد شد.

• غیر‌یهودیانی که با عیسی مسیح می‌جنگند نابود خواهند شد.

• Jesus Christ will return to the earth. When he comes, he will give true believers immortal life and a place in God’s kingdom.

​

• People who have known but refused to obey the Gospel will be rejected and die.

​

• Jews who are alive and accept Christ as their king when he returns will be allowed to live in God’s kingdom as mortal people. The Lord Jesus will make them the chief of the nations. The Jews who reject him will be punished and die.

​

• Gentiles who accept Christ’s rule will be allowed to live in God’s kingdom as mortal people. They will be taught God’s ways by the Lord Jesus and immortal believers.

​

• The Gentile nations who fight against the Lord Jesus will be destroyed.
