Common Questions About Placement

  • Q: When do students intern?
  • A: Placement hours vary widely based on site and students’ availability. Likely weekday afternoons/early evenings and weekends.
  • Q: What if a student cannot complete internship hours within the fall semester?
  • A: As the fall semester is 6 weeks shorter than the spring, we have some flexibility to issue an INC until a student completes hours the following spring.
  • Q: What if a student is not placed this fall?
  • A: I will try my best to match students this semester, but if a placement is not finalized by early October, a student may drop the Internship Program from their fall schedule and enroll in Spring 2025 or a later semester.
