My name is Aaron.
I am 9 years old and I am in the 2nd grade.
I would like to tell you about my experiences in our topic days.
Normally I don’t like topic days, but this time I had three great days.
My name is Snorre. My class is1.B at Søhusskolen.
It can be a bit difficult for me when I have to do something new, and I am with children I don't know well.
That's why I was allowed to come on a special team.
This is our school Søhusskolen.
The pictures are probably taken in the summertime, because you can see green leaves at the trees.
I the topic days all students were divided into mixed teams.
The teams included all students from our school.
From 6 years and up to 16 years.
The other students could choose from many different workshops:
Card games, street art, making bird boxes, cooking, sports, stop motion films, theatre, origami, robots and music.
Exciting stuff – but we are glad that we could to something different.
Together with 3 other kids we were invited to be part of a journalist team.
Kristian from Club7 was the boss and we had to do an appointment conversation with him before we could start.
Our parents received this letter from Kristian:
"The Children's Editorial Team”
The Initiative:
For children who have challenges participating in the community throughout the day, there is an opportunity to come down and help the Children's Editorial Team and become a children's journalist to help uncover week 6. Here, one will have a short appointment conversation with Kristian, after which one will receive their children's journalist card. It is the agreement with Kristian that determines which task or how long one helps in the Children's Editorial Team. Maybe it's also just nice to have another place to sit and take a break.
We are located in CLUB7, if Kristian is not there, you sit and wait on the couch until he arrives. So you can send a child to CLUB7 if there is a need. You can also call Kristian at 60173575, and he will come and help pick up.
Tasks consist of taking pictures of the various workshops and interviewing both adults and children in their workshops.
The Children's Editorial Team will present the coverage of week 6 in the hall on the last day."
Here you can see me (Aaron) at work.
I am interviewing both pupils from our school and a senior who was teaching students how to play the card came bridge.
We were allowed to be all our school in our seach for a good story or some nice photos.
We have made a movie where you can see some of the many pictures, we have taken during the days.
We both hope that you like it.
We have done our best.
Our film – please enjoy ☺
