You will have a weekly conversation with your line-manager, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, to ensure that your personal goals and objectives stay aligned to the company’s priorities. We believe in open feedback both ways, between yourself and manager. We're here to support you and unlock your full potential.

Every employee has the opportunity to grow their skills at carwow. Your line-manager will work with you to craft an individual plan set around your goals and aspirations. They will set out a clear path on how you can progress in your role and grow as an individual—promoting a positive attitude to skills in the workplace.

Wellbeing is at the heart of our culture; it's a fundamental principle in our working environment. carwow prides itself on promoting physical and mental health. In supporting our team, we have trained mental health first aiders and partner with Sanctus.io, who offer individual and group coaching sessions.

The interview process

Engineering

1. Application Review

If your CV has met the role requirements�and displays the experience needed,�we'll invite you to a phone screen with a hiring manager

3. Technical Test

We will arrange a remote pairing session with you and carwow engineer; we'll brief you about the session a few days before to give you time to prepare

2. Video call

Over a 45 minute video call, the hiring manager will discuss your suitability for the position, provide additional information and answer any questions you may have

4. Culture Fit

Usually, we would invite you into the office to meet the team, but unfortunately, we can't do this right now. Instead, we'll have a 30-minute call to see if we are a good fit together

5. Offer

At the end of the process, we'll give you feedback. If successful we'll prepare you an offer, draw up a contract and begin the onboarding process. Welcome to carwow!

Interviewing remotely

For many interviewing can be a daunting experience. Remotely going through the process might make it more challenging for some. Don't worry, we're here to help with your application and interview process!

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to a member of our hiring team. We have had to adapt this year at carwow; it has become the norm to have a video call with people in their kitchen, living room or home office. Our top tip for video calls is to be somewhere you feel relaxed and confident.

We've also had our fair share of connectivity issues to, if you have a poor line let your interviewer know, we can either change to a phone call or re-arrange at a better time.
