There are 15 each of the five types of cards:
1. Preference: Provides a framework for the scene
2. Character: Sets up the main character of the scene and story
3. Place: Defines where the action takes place
4. Challenge: Outlines the problem the story is trying to solve
5. Curveball: Gives students a creative twist to their scenes
Print the cards and then cut them so you can distribute them to your students. Note that there is one blank card per type; you may decide to have the class come up with an item, you may create your own prompt, or you can use the 14 preprinted prompts for each card type.
Decide which types of cards to distribute to students (or student-groups). You could give one of each of the 5 types to each group, or you may choose to only give a card from 2 types or 3 types to a group.
Each group of students then creates a story or scene based on what is in the cards.
Students are usually given 10-15 minutes to storyboard and 15-20 minutes to create their scene and video using 3DBear,
Have each group share their video with the class.
Optionally, you can have the class vote on videos for Most Creative, Most Interesting, Silliest, etc.
