Welcome to Third Grade!
My name is Mrs. Risch, and I will be your teacher this year in room D1 at MacArthur.
I received my Bachelors Degree from Arizona State University (Go Devils!). I have been in education with Mesa Public Schools since 2011, and am going into my 5th year teaching here at MacArthur. I currently reside in Mesa with husband, 8 year old daughter Madilynn, and baby boy Martin. It is rare you will see me without a coffee in hand, especially if I am on my way to a marching band event!
1 1.5 inch, 3 ring binder, with 5 dividers
2 packs of pencils (ticonderoga preferred)
2 packs of 24 colored pencils (crayola preferred)
3 one subject wide ruled notebooks (red, yellow, blue preferred)
1 4 pack of black dry erase markers
1 pack of glue sticks (elmers preferred)
1 pair of scissors (labeled with your student’s name)
1 hard sided pencil case (labeled with your student’s name)
1 pair of headphones (must be corded, NOT bluetooth)

Tissues, Disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer
Box of 24 Crayola crayons
Box of 10 Crayola Markers
Extra of above supplies (glue, dry erase markers, copy paper etc)
Individually wrapped snacks
2 reams of white copy paper
The first day of School is Thursday, August 6th!�School begins at 8:15am and ends at 2:45pm. On Wednesdays, school is out at 12:45pm.
