Data

Test one: Current temperature outside is 63 degrees. Partly cloudy. Solar Oven was placed in the direction of the sun at 3:00. Nothing melted or cooked

Test two current temperature outside 68 degrees. Sunny a bit cloudy. The solar oven was placed in the direction of the sun at 3:00. The chocolate melted but the marshmallows got stale due to the weather.

Test three: Current temperature outside 72 degrees. Lots of sun some clouds. The solar oven was placed in the direction of the sun at 3:00. The chocolate melted and the marshmallows soft

Share /Conclusions

The Solar Oven does work but only depending on the temperature. If it is winding the oven may not work so well if it is sunny the oven will work great. So depending on the temperature is depending on how the Solar Oven will work. So the first day it was too cold but the next two days my chocolate melted but then hardened back up when the sun went down but day two it was windy so the marshmallows got stale. Day three the chocolate melted and the marshmallows got soft.

Improve/Test

The third time I did my test it worked the best because it was hotter outside. To get these results I had to wait for the perfect day were it was hotter outside for my project to work

Real world connections

This project uses heat energy instead of electricity. The sun is helpful in many ways.
