Project Overview

  • Art galleries in real life are boring – Visiting art galleries is a very passive experience
  • Our project aims to solve this problem by providing an interactive, immersive experience
  • We will create a gallery where displayed pieces move and change in reaction to the user
  • Users can experiment with specific movements, or just sit back and enjoy the dynamic gallery around them

Our Goal for MVP

A basic gallery with an object that has a material/shader that responds to user interaction in some way

Switched to the Universal Render Pipeline (URP)

  • URP enables a wide range of visual effects without compromising on performance
  • It has great platform support so all of our effects work on the Quest
  • Many shader graph tutorials are based on this
  • Once we upgraded MRTK assets to URP, everything worked seamlessly
