It’s a green rectangle with large white letters that spells out my street’s name.

A few feet away is a bus stop that we use to go to town.
I know if I stand by this blue square sign, the bus will surely come around.

Near my crosswalk, there’s a yellow sign that’s shaped like a diamond and plain to see.
It shows me this is where to cross as safely as can be.

Sometimes, I see an octagon sign that is red and has white text.
I know to STOP and look both ways for cars going way too fast.

I know to be cautious at railroad tracks because of the big orange sign.
It’s a circle with a large black X as part of its design.
