Why do we dissect in school?

1

Finding new careers

A lot of surgeons discover their passion for surgery during middle school and high school. That is why a lot of schools dissect frogs to help students discover their future careers.

2

Learning Purpose

Many schools also dissect for learning purposes. Schools want students to gain understanding of the body. While dissecting the animals, students see, touch and explore the many organs in the body.
