Our Project

Maximizing job search efficiency using the Indeed database through Python and Beautiful Soup

What It Does

Gets a series of user input (job name keywords, red flags to avoid in the description, specific info about entry-level jobs/citizenship) and prints out a user-defined number of jobs with basic info along with easy-access URLs

Unemployment rates for immigrants hit a high of 13.1% in January 2009, which the average rates consistently being higher than

Entry-level jobs are constantly decreasing wich it being hard to filter out “entry-level” jobs by name from those that truly don’t require industry experience.

    • Utilize the Python Simple Host to run an HTML program with the Python backend
    • Modify as a Chrome browser extension
