Some Updates about State Legislation (from MOD)
· The Centers for Medicaid Services have approved MA’s request to extend Medicaid to 365 days postpartum
· We are monitoring and strategizing for the 2023-2024 session. March of Dimes national policy priorities will be available in the coming months and that will further determine what our priorities are here in MA, but I can safely say that vaccines, doulas and maternal mental health will continue to remain high priority
