NY Sun Works is a not for profit organization that builds hydroponic labs in public schools to teach science and sustainability education through the lens of urban farming.
We currently partner with 130 schools in the five boroughs of New York and metropolitan areas of New Jersey.

Students work together to take plants from seeds to harvest and in the process learn about plant biology, ecology, how humans interact with and impact the environment and how to care for the hydroponic systems themselves!
