Psalm 23
How is your cup? - Your ministry must flow out of abundance
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.
Why Tents?
When you are a tent
Go wherever God goes
Rely on God’s Power
Available for God’s Call
Follow humbly
Overflowing to GiveRich
Why Tents? If we knew exactly where we were going, we wouldn’t need to pray. We are on a journey with God!
When you are not
Settles, no Impact
Self-dependent (weak)
Busy with “Work”
Proud of Own Deeds
Running EmptyPoor

Luke 11:11-13 (TPT) - Basic Prayer
11“Let me ask you this: Do you know of any father who would give his son a snake on a plate when he asked for a serving of fish? Of course not! 12Do you know of any father who would give his daughter a spider when she had asked for an egg? Of course not! 13If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when his children ask him.”
Let’s Pray
John 10:3-4, 14, 16 (NLT) - Listening to God
3The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.
John 10:3-5, 14, 16 (NLT) - Listening to God
14"I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, 16I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd.
Let’s Listen
Exodus 17:8-13 (NLT) - Intercessory Prayer
8While the people of Israel were still at Rephidim, the warriors of Amalek attacked them. 9Moses commanded Joshua, "Choose some men to go out and fight the army of Amalek for us. Tomorrow, I will stand at the top of the hill, holding the staff of God in my hand."
Exodus 17:8-13 (NLT) - Intercessory Prayer
10So Joshua did what Moses had commanded and fought the army of Amalek. Meanwhile, Moses, Aaron, and Hur climbed to the top of a nearby hill. 11As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage.
Exodus 17:8-13 (NLT) - Intercessory Prayer
12Moses' arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset. 13As a result, Joshua overwhelmed the army of Amalek in battle.
Let’s Intercede(Pray for One Another)
1Corinthians 4:20, John 14:26 (NLT)
For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God's power.
But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
Challenge for the week:
Spend unhurried time with Godfor 5 minutes, 3 times each day
Offering Prayer
YOU MUST EACH DECIDE IN YOUR HEART HOW MUCH TO GIVE. AND DON’T GIVE RELUCTANTLY OR IN RESPONSE TO PRESSURE. “FOR GOD LOVES A PERSON WHO GIVES CHEERFULLY.
