If all present, mark nothing and SUBMIT. You can change attendance code at the top, and everywhere you click it will change to that code.
Seating Chart
Insert rows, tables, and chairs. Add objects like teacher desk, board, door, and text
Student Information
Select a student on the left. It opens their student screens. Choose a different screen from the drop down.

ATTENDANCE SUMMARY
Attendance for the teacher--- your attendance summary
Click PowerTeacher Pro (PTP)
First thing--- Use the SETTINGS menu to make the sections/classes say what you want and view like you like it.
*** One thing to note: Student Grade Scale- this can be a specific scale that you can assign to a student (Pass/Fail). If none available, district can make it available. Why do this? IEP, ELL, etc.
Can Teachers do total points, weight grades, etc?
Well… if they are given that right at the district level- YES!
Create Assignment Categories
Use GRADING menu and click Categories
Use the Edit Pencil and manage whether you want that category listed or not
Click the PLUS sign in the top right corner and choose CATEGORY
Determine a new category for this class
--- SCORE TYPE is under assignment defaults. This is important.
Are you using Schoology?
You will need this section and PTP settings to match EXACTLY for the sync to work!
Create Assignments
Plus Sign--- ASSIGNMENTS
Notice you can add name, category, individual assignment, and more (can be DUPLICATED and used again) Also-- settings gear has “copy” command here.
Grading- SCORESHEET (visual gradebook)
Adding Scores-- click a cell for the GRADER
Grading- Traditional Grades, Category Totals, All Terms
Don’t forget you can click your profile icon (top right) and enlarge or shrink text size. Final Grade Status button (bottom of Traditional Grades)- check it when validated.
