Reading: Students will use text features and different sources to find key information, ask and answer questions, retell stories using main story elements, and identify and use -s and -ed word endings.

Phonics: Students will learn about L blends and R blends.

Writing: Students will practice writing complete sentences with subject/verb agreement.

Math: Students will practice adding within 20 using strategies such as making 10, number bonds, and adding in any order, while solving story problems and finding unknown numbers in addition equations.

Social Studies: Students will learn what government is, explore how state and local governments help their communities, and practice ways to be responsible citizens of South Carolina.

10/9 : Charleston Wrap Ends.

10/13 : Spirit Night @ Chick-fil-a.

10/16 : NO SCHOOL. Teacher Workday.

10/23 : All field trip forms and money due.

  • Every child needs a pair of headphones sent in & labeled.
  • Tennis shoes are needed for your child’s PE day.
  • Denver Downs field trip October 30th.
