Information needed before adding a college course

  • Any course that is taken to meet a subject high school graduation requirement must be on the equivalency guide. If you take a 100 level class that is not listed on the guide it will count as an elective class and not toward a subject requirements.
  • In the case of ENG, H 147 & 148 (courses to fulfill US History) credits will be split .5 subject, .5 electives
  • Pols 202 would be equivalent to .5 Civics and .5 CWP credit. Other RS courses are added with the credit amount you will earn.
  • Before picking courses at the college you should check the colleges course catalog and read the course description. The description will also tell you the amount of credits you will earn for the class.
