Harvest Church

“A Ministry of Excellence”

PRAYER and CONFESSION (2 Chron. 7:14, Mark 11:22-24)

Make the following confessions daily.

We, the Body of Believers at Harvest Church, live in perfect harmony and full agreement with the Word of God, and there is no division among us. Every service is full of God’s love, His praise, His revelation, His power and every seat is every service is filled.

20,000 Believers have been added to Harvest Church, both men and women, and children and each member are fully committed to the work of the Lord. People are flowing into Harvest Church and those who are coming with sickness or who are troubled with foul spirits are all cured. There is not one feeble one among us. All the members of our congregation are tithers and we are living under an open heaven.

25 of 69

We are bold in our witness and reigning as kings in the earth. We are doers of the Word of God and are experiencing only success and victory in every area of life. This church is prospering financially, having more than enough to meet the needs of every situation.

We are redeemed from poverty, ignorance, sickness, confusion, aggravation, frustration, division and spiritual death, and no weapon formed against us prospers and every tongue that rises against us is condemned in advance. Thank You Father for our new facilities, and property sowed into us debt free and paid for, we thank you for seeds sown into our ministry with global and international streams of wealth, exposure and increase poured into our ministry daily. We thank you that our ministry is added to daily. We thank you for Your blessings upon Our church, and for using us to establish Your Word throughout the earth.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

7. Baptism

34 of 69

BAPTISM

Water Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our personal identification with Him because of the death of our old man, the burial of the old man, and the resurrection of the new man who will live for Jesus.

  • Water Baptism is done as an act of obedience to the

Word of God.

  • Water Baptism is done to follow the example of Jesus.

Baptism unto Jesus (Water Baptism)

35 of 69

BAPTISM

Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a new testament teaching and experience.

The evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking with other tongues (an unknown language to you).

Praying in the Spirit is the decision of the will (1 Corinthians 14:19 “I have rather” Paul makes a choice to pray with his understanding rather than in an unknown tongue).

8. Communion

38 of 69

COMMUNION

The communion meal recalls the table fellowship Jesus shared with his disciples, and in particular the Last Supper on the night before his death as well as his appearances to the disciples during meals following his resurrection. Throughout its history these Biblical events have been central to the Church's worship life.

39 of 69

COMMUNION

Communion is:

  • A joyous act of thanksgiving for all God has done, is doing, and will do for the redeeming of creation;

  • A sacred memorial of the crucified and risen Christ, a living and effective sign of Christ's sacrifice in which Christ is truly and rightly present to those who eat and drink;

40 of 69

COMMUNION

Communion is:

  • An earnest prayer for the presence of the Holy Spirit to unite those who partake with the Risen Christ and with each other, and to restore creation, making all things new;
  • An intimate experience of fellowship in which the whole church in every time and place is present and divisions are overcome; A hopeful sign of the promised Realm of God marked by justice

41 of 69

COMMUNION

Who may receive Communion?

The Communion Table is "open to all Christians who wish to know the presence of Christ and to share in the community of God's people." Remember, this is a sacrament of covenant, thus you must be in covenant with Christ to partake of this sacrament.

What about Children?

Baptized children are able to receive communion.

42 of 69

COMMUNION

How often is Communion served?

The scriptures read in I Corinthians 11:25 “Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me”. Thus, there is no set pattern or frequency for the sacrament of communion.

At Harvest, it is generally celebrated every Sunday at 4-6 months.

Malachi 3:8-12

“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.”
