为什么要教授亚裔/华裔历史

Asian/Chinese American’s History is American History

亚裔/华裔的历史是美国的历史中不可缺少的一部分

华人于1815年前后来美国，迄今200 多年。是内华达州的五个建州族裔之一
华工建造了横贯大陆的铁路，链接东西两岸建成统一的美国
华人多次在法庭内外捍卫美国宪法（出生公民权、平等保护、投票权）
从南北战争开始，在对外战争中华人子弟参军作战, 用生命和鲜血保卫国家
华人在工农业、科学、技术、经济、国防、教育、艺术等方面做出杰出贡献，在世界上为国争光

我们知道前人的经历吗？美国社会知道华人的贡献吗？

根除 “Where are you from？” 需要教育，从小开始。
