After Luna was born, her mother became sick. Cancer. Azalea's family might've looked normal to outsiders, and the kids believe it was normal when they were too young to understand it's not, but her family was toxic. Cesare is a person who hates routine, loves traveling and moving, and loves to get drunk. Since as a child Cesare didn't form much friendships and he moved around a lot, he never understood what it's like to have a real friend, somebody you spend so much time with that you can tell them your secrets. Cesare was born while his mother was in between places ... Literally. She was moving from one place to another and during the car trip to the new place he was born. She was a person who was unable to settle down, but not because she enjoyed it but because her life became chaotic and she had to move from place to place. That's why little Cesare never had a real home or many friends in childhood. His fondest memory of a friend from childhood was a little girl who did braids for his hair when it was long and he didn't want to cut it yet, and since then he's been taking care of his hair, growing it out and braiding it. One day he was being bullied by your regular bully, but Cesare decided not to react in any way to it, as if nothing was happening, and the bully got so mad at him, that he went to far and started calling him slurs, beating him up, insulting him and his mom and dad every single day, until Cesare couldn't take it anymore and he wanted to punch him, but instead his hair rose up, tied around the bullys neck and started choking the bully as his face was fuming and red. He didn't do any damage to the bully except maybe emotional trauma, but this was how he found out what his superpower was. (Up until that point he was also being laughed at for having no powers)

However, every man, no matter how sad, has his interests and way of having fun, and in William's case it's surprisingly gentle. He likes to take care of flowers. Often when tragedies happen people tend to fail to comprehend it just happened and blame somebody for it and when a very young William asked, no begged, his uncle to take him to buy him concert tickets at a place where they would eventually be held hostage and the uncle wouldn't make it out alive, William's father blamed him for what happened. The father was so close to his brother that his death made him a bit irrational, and he started hating his son for it and never took notice of him, and ignored him while only caring about his brothers. After some time, William started being angry and he kept being angry but he suffered in silence because deep inside he also blamed himself for uncle's death because of what his father was saying to him back when he spoke to him even if only to blame him and insult him. His mother didn't like it either, and she was nice to William when nobody saw, but around the father she felt weak and feared him and his anger if she would even mention being a father to William. One day, his father got angry and decided to take it out on William by bullying him about not having any powers. William was angry but contained like always, but his mother came to him to comfort him but as soon as she touched his arm she was shocked by electricity. It turned out the man that killed his uncle with his powers hit young William with a bit of electricity and made him develop powers. However his mother was hurt and his father claimed that was the last straw, and thus, at the age of 9 he was disowned.

It took William years, but he managed to come into his own, forget all about his past but because of that have nobody to blame but himself for the way he turne out. At the age of 15 he faked his documents and joined the army. A spirit as resentful and full of swallowed hatred was just what the army needed. They gave him a nickname "Abbadon" which means "Angel of death" and he decided to have this as his last name instead of Alastor because he was disowned and shouldn't keep it as a family name. Now it's been a few years of faithful service in the army with no problems, and his superiors love him, but one of them wanted to get rid of him, thought the others would never allow it, because he heard his beloved girlfriend has slept with William and this camp is what he thought of for getting him out of the way at least until he clears things with his girlfriend. He also managed to get the others to join in by telling them that William needs a vacation from the war after their army found themselves being the villains and the war was lost by saying that William was changed by it and should have some time to rest or it could be dangerous.

Orla's childhood wasn't hard, it was actually almost ideal. She had impenetrable skin because of the materials that it was made out of and other children thought it was cool and liked trying to poke her, or trying to poke her with their pencils, scissors and such without anybody managing to do it. Of course, having skin that looks half golden and half black turned out to be a problem for matching clothes and doing makeup with other teenage girls, but the boys found it attractive and the girls liked doing her hair and makeup. The only problem that arose is jealousy, but it didn't go to great lengths because Orla showed no interest in dating or sleeping with anybody at the time.

However, once she was 17 and had to have surgery, the doctors weren't able to do it normally and had to find a way to melt her skin to be able to reach the organ the surgery was being done on and since she was the only person who had this problem, there was no way of telling how that surgery could end so because of the surgery and some health problems that arose with it, she had to repeat a grade and even though she's perfectly healthy now, she's self-conscious about the scar that surgery left on her skin, another situation like this killing her and the fact there was a melting point to cut into her skin. Also, she never dated anybody for longer than a few weeks because she realized that most guys she dates and sometimes girls, were scared of going all the way because they were afraid of sleeping with somebody with such hard skin and so different that they got so scared they lost interest in dating her altogether. As soon as she finished community college (she had to repeat a grade in HS because of her health) she decided to go to a camp and find somebody brave who might like her so she doesn't have to date another 10 people who will all turn out the same in the end.

Recent M.I.T. doctorate grad of particle astrophysics, Andromeda Armstrong’s once promising career ended the fateful day she boarded that space shuttle. In pursuit of a further understanding of how the particles that make up the universe interact with each other, Andromeda joined a team of other researchers to test the effects of a particle collider in a zero gravity environment. Upon activation, the collider’s particle containment unit failed and the ensuing explosion tore the shuttle apart and exposed her to the vacuum of space. As if that bit of overkill wasn’t enough, Andromeda was also bombarded with all manner of energy and particles while being subjected to the freezing temperatures. Instead of dying, however, Andromeda’s molecules had somehow bonded with the particles and very fabric of the universe itself. The trauma of the event caused her to lose consciousness and hurl endlessly through space, until eventually being pulled into Earth’s atmosphere and falling like a shooting star.Afraid her life was over and of the monster she saw in the mirror, Andromeda hid herself from her friends and family, thinking it was better they believed she died in explosion. She now seeks to reinvent herself and found Camp Solace where she hopes to find someone to help her start her new life, and maybe, just maybe someone she can trust enough to tell who she really is.

Nicolas (Nico for short, though he only allows certain people to call him that), has a particularly bold personality. He’s well known for being comfortable around people within minutes of meeting them, and is very much an open book. Nico has his own sense of morals, that he will stubbornly defend despite any circumstances. He doesn’t hold these beliefs without research, though, as he’ll often spend hours in a library. He’s not much of a fan of fiction, and is more invested in books dealing with real world issues and statistics. He enjoys flirty banter, and he wouldn’t admit it, but he does catch feelings very easily. One of his negative traits, is that he can be unintentionally insensitive to certain things and doesn’t know what is crossing the line. Nico also doesn’t know exactly what to do when people put their trust in him, and often just leaves or ghosts those he feels rely on him too much because he’s afraid of letting them down. And this pressure of wanting to not fail, can cause him to act irrationally or rudely to those he cares about.

Nico was raised for the first years of his life, relatively well off. He lives with his mother and father, and older sister, Veronica. His father was realtor and his mother was in law school, and they were pessimistic most of the times. They hadn’t entertained typical childhood fantasies that he had, shutting Nico up if they felt he was too optimistic. Eventually this pessimism caught up to them, when his father fell into debt after making wrong choices. With the high tuition for his mom, the bills began to pile up.Veronica had picked up a couple jobs, and as Nico got older, he joined his sister. One day, as Veronica was driving Nico back late, a car came out of nowhere and hit the side of the car Veronica was on. In a fit of panic, he accidentally used his power and turned back time just a few minutes and warned his sister. This was the first time he’d ever used it.

Finley doesn't have any memories of their parents, only the chaotic foster care system they grew up in. There were a lot of negatives to the foster life they found themselves in. For one, it was incredibly boring sometimes, luckily they could use their wave powers to create entertainment. They were able to replicate songs perfectly because of mixing their power with their perfect pitch. They were also able to manipulate nearby waves to get a signal on TVs and watch shows. Their favorite shows were typical Hero stories. Finley always admired the righteous hero, they were someone Finley could look up to even if they were fake. Though, they did get in trouble for doing it a couple times in the past. Secondly, It was tough for them and they never felt like anyone gave them a fair chance. That was until one day. On this day, they got into a really bad brawl with a bully, it wasn't a pretty sight. When they heard the adults coming, Finley booked it. They knew that they couldn't get away from their inevitable punishment, but they at least wanted to put it off. So, they hid out in a dark cramped room. Finley almost bolted as they heard a voice asking if they were there. However, before they could, the voice introduced themselves. The voice was actually the kid who was being picked on earlier. They had a lengthy discussion about how they got there, and bonded. But what really made an impression on Finley was that the kid gave them an important locket. It was only thing the kid had left to remember their dead father with.

At first, Finley instantly declined the gift. But, they insisted and eventually Finley caved. The kid believed that Finley had a good heart, and they hope the locket might help ground Finley's emotions so Finley doesn't go in guns blazing. Therefor, Finley wouldn't get in trouble with the adults as much. Afterwards, Finley gave themself up and was locked in a room to "give them time to calm down" though it was more akin to solitary confinement in Finley's perspective. After two days, Finley was allowed to leave the room under supervision. However, they couldn't find the kid. Apparently, the kid had been transferred the day after the fight. If Finley could've, they would've punched the universe right there and then. However, Finely did make a promise and hero's stay true to their word. Of course, one cannot change overnight, but with practice they were able to control it enough to prevent another all out brawl. When Finley turned 18 and entered the real world, they spent a whole week trying to find their old friend before realizing that they needed to get a job to survive. Yet to this day, they haven't found them. This camp seemed like a good of a shot as any, if they are seen on TV- their friend could possibly be able to contact them again. One good thing about all the lonely time they spent in the foster houses was that they were able to practice their power. When they were a kid, they could create waves but they didn't have any practical use for it. To create precise waves was a skill that Finley had to master, made easier with his perfect pitch but it was still difficult for non-sound waves. But, they did learn and it was a good thing too since their power helped keep them from hurting people in confrontations.

Reed grew up in a boarding school. This was a boarding school for kids who didn't have powers. Though, never admitted, it was widely known as the rejects. People who didn't want to go through the trouble of raising a kid without powers sent them to the boarding school. Luckily, there was a mutual bond of understanding between the kids, so it wasn't totally lonely. There was of course the occasional bullying and bickering between groups which could get bad. But, Reed usually stayed in his group of friends. Things continued as normally as they could for him until he turned around twelve. There was a rumor circulating about a man who could grant wishes. Reed was interested, but it was his friend group who decided to seek him out. Reed helped plan how they'd sneak out. Once they were out, they headed for the direction of the train tracks, where the mysterious person allegedly resided. However, a bad storm suddenly struck them. Half of them went back to the school and the other half kept trying to find the person. Reed was lagging behind, rather unsure if he should've gone back with the others. A sudden roar of thunder scared Reed, making him slip on the tracks and fall down the hill. He hit his hard on something and was knocked out. When he woke up, it was day and it had stopped raining. Reed's head shot up when he heard a voice come from atop a a pile of scrap. A teenage boy, with crazy white hair and wearing punk clothing, sat on top the pile. The boy asked if Reed was alive to which Reed nodded. The boy laughed, advising Reed to get his head checked out as it had a pretty nasty injury. After a second of gathering his thoughts, Reed asked the boy if he was the one who granted people's wishes. The boy's yellow eyes lit up and he gave an unsettling grin. They said that they weren't capable of making wishes come true, but they were able to bestow unnatural abilities to people. This got Reeds attention since he always wanted to have powers since he had been sent to the boarding school. The boy asked if Reed wanted a power as they unwrapped a granola bar.

After a second of thinking, Reed nodded. The teenager took a dramatic bite of the granola bar then hopped down the pile. The boy threw the wrapper on ground and put the granola bar in his mouth to hold. Then he extended his hand, saying it was a deal. Reed nodded and took his hand. "Deal," after Reed said that, he felt like all his energy had been drained and once again he collapsed. After waking up, he was slightly annoyed as he couldn't use any new power and it didn't seem like he had one. But, he wasn't mad, more just a bit disappointed. That was until he got back to the school. His body felt all sorts of weird things and saw some odd things too as he walked to the nurses office. But, before he could make it he had to pass through the cafeteria. Needless to say the amount of emotions were too much. Reed fell down in pain and he was carried to the nurses office. The further away he got, the better he felt. After doing some tests and cleaning his wound, they concluded that it was a power. Obviously, this power made his parents want him back even less, so the school just gave them a private room aka a shed to help them stay away from large grouping of people. The only thing that kept him sane were his friends, though some of them weren't comfortable with seeing him because of his ability. So, some distanced themselves. Though, he was happy with the few that remained. The incident happened a year later. It happened in the middle of the night, Reed was awakened by an intense pain in his chest. When he stepped outside his shed and looked at the school, it was obvious something was wrong. He couldn't tell if the fire was something his power was showing him or if it was real, but he didn't care. He needed to go and get his friends out of whatever was happened. But, it only became stronger as he stepped closer.

Eventually he fell to his knees and blacked out. When he came to, his friends were sitting around him watching the school. There were fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances all parked outside the school. It seemed like the fire was real. Reed wished he could've stopped it, he knew for the past month that people’s emotions were crazy, but he never knew it was like this. Reed and his friends were processed by the system which took a while. News articles wrote about it too, how Saint Cascadia, a school known for having students without powers, was destroyed by the students who had seemingly gained powers over night. Reed was questioned for a long time since then, he described the guy he saw the day he got his powers to the best of his memory. However, that was all Reed could help with. His parents still didn't want him, and he didn't need his power to know this. Most of his friends were experiencing the same thing, being sent to other boarding schools. Despite all the bad Cascadia was, it still accommodated for his power, which was a rare thing. He knew that other boarding schools likely wouldn't care. He looked at several options, but none of them were what he was hoping for until a miracle happened. One of his boarding school friends reached out to him and asked he wanted to stay at his place. His friend's parents were ecstatic when they learned that their child was given powers too. So, banking on their excitement his friend said he could negotiate something. Reed accepted. Reed mostly slept in the treehouse they had in their backyard to stay as far away from the families emotions as he could. Since, they didn't like him at all. Though, his friend kept him sane. Reed had to drop out of public school because of his power, so he spent most of that time reading books and practicing understanding his power to try and avoid another night like the one that happened at Saint Cascadia. As soon as he could, he got a job to start saving up for when he was eighteen. And, as soon as that birthday came around he moved, renting out the top of a duplex. Currently he's saving up to buy a house away from crowded areas, like a log cabin in the woods. He went to the camp mostly cause his friends suggested it for him.

Destiny could point out the moment she knew everything was going to be different was the moment her tiny 3 year old legs touched pool water for the first time. Because of her very unusual powers, the cool summer water burned her like fire, she had screamed and when her parents pulled her out, they were both shocked and relieved that the only damage that was done was a mild, but treatable first degree burn. When she was 6, three years later, she was running around playing with the other kids when she had gotten to close to the bonfire and accidentally tripped falling on the hot coals. Terrified, all the adults rushed to the burning child, but to their horror and surprise, the little girl was giggling instead of screaming and wanted to continue playing like nothing had happened, the fire, while raging all over her, didn’t harm her at all. Her parents now rightfully scared, took Destiny to the doctor where they ran some…unusual tests and found out that whatever elements: Air, Water, Earth, Fire, etc she comes into contact with, her body can change the very properties of the element itself making it so that she could breathe water as if it was air or fire became cool to the touch and didn’t burn, or that she could swim through the very air around her, like something right out of a fantasy world. So intrigued by her new powers, that Destiny wanted to grow up and be a writer, so she read and read, and throughout the years she learned to better control her power through fantasy worlds and theories. When she graduated college she decided to be an English teacher and share her love of reading and writing with kids and work on her own fantasy novel that she hopes will one day be published.

Her shapeshifting alarmed her parents at an early age. They sent her to a local scientist who was known to deal with superpowered individuals with the hopes to “cure” her. But the scientist had other plans, he faked her death and kidnapped her. She became one of his test subjects in his lab. The scientist forced used her and nine others to be super soldiers using their powers and whatever enhancement the scientists gave to said powers. She was forced to get rid of her name and instead be called “Subject Four”. This is how she got the nickname Ivy (IV). She constantly honed her skills, hoping if she was powerful enough people would like her. This made her power grow stronger and stronger until she became the. She was considered “The prime subject” and was the face of the project. All of the other subjects bullied her for being more favored. But despite not knowing where the subjects came from, the group became rather infamous. The soldiers were forced to do the government’s dirty work and thus grew a reputation as villains. And being the most popular subject, Ivy got the worst of it. Eventually, the government turned on the project disbanding it and forcing the subjects to live on the streets...Including Ivy. She was 17. At first, she was looking for apartments, but she had no money to buy anything. She didn’t want to be homeless so she used her powers to steal a diamond necklace from the store. She pawned it and got the money for her first apartment. Then rent came due, and she stole another..and another...until she was a part-time jewel thief. It was a pretty pay, but she’s had to move a lot. One day at the pawnshop, she heard of camp solace and immediately saved up to go. She was loathed by everyone, even herself. And yet she still longed to be loved and wanted by somebody. She drove to camp solace thinking “If anyone was going to accept her, it would be her soulmate.”

Her family has always been labeled the 'scary gothic family' by people, as all of their family members have a power that has to do with darkness, evilness and and things deemed 'sinful' but the fear people had for the Royale family only excited them- Jeren the most as his powers had to do with him feeding on the fear of people.

The family were closely fond of each other and tormented people together when they felt bored. It has always been a play time activity for them, making their bad reputation even worst.

Arthur was born a normal guy; no tests indicated anything out of the ordinary. He ran around and played with the other kids like normal, then at the age of 12 everything changed. They say that your body will start to grow and develop, that you shouldn’t be scared. Arthur wasn’t exactly scared but he was pretty sure that it wasn’t normal for a boy to change into a girl in the middle of the night. So, he kept it a secret until one night when he was awoken by the sound of a robber breaking in, he was so scared that hid under his covers until his parents pulled them away to check on him and screamed about their baby boy missing. The next ten minutes were a whirlwind, the police were called, the news got notified, and in the midst of all of it was a scared 12 year-old girl. The police asked her if she knew where the boy was, where Arthur Wilson was, she shook her head indicating she didn’t exactly know, which was true, as they hadn’t controlled the power and she really didn’t know. After all the fuss died down and upon discovering that the girl didn’t have a home, they took her in for the night. The next morning, Mrs. Wilson went to check on the girl only to find her son, Arthur. After telling her husband, they decided to hide an old Nanny cam to confirm a theory; the next night when seeing Arthur go to sleep then wake up in the middle of the night as the same 12 year-old girl from before to get a glass of water, their theory was confirmed and they disowned Arthur, unable to accept the very thought that their beloved son could change into a girl and how the scandal would affect their standing with the other wealthy socialites. Angered by her parents, decision and behavior towards her brother/new sister, Arthur’s older sister Natasha left with him in tow which her parents allowed on one condition, that she uses the money they give her to change their names and then be out of their lives forever. Natasha agreed, did exactly that and raised them both herself.

Now all grown up and afraid of being abandoned again, Arthur and Freya seek their soulmate, the one person he/she can trust…with everything.

Audrey grew up in a home with a single mother and a few of her boyfriends. As a young boy he had a feeling who his father was. It had to be the neighbor, him and his mother were always talking and hanging out, sharing pleasentries, greeting each other with smiles. Of course he had to be his father. It was also bad that the neighbor treated his mather so well, but neglected him, and that’s why his mother kept putting of dating him because she didn’t want to date him because if it went wrong one of them would have to move. At the age of 16, while on a family vacation he met a girl, she was the very definition of “thrill of the chase”, the only times he ever managed to catch her was when she let him. When she found out he was a lumberjack, was the first time he’d heard her laugh. She then turned to him and, he’d never forget it, called herself his little White Stag. He was confused at first until she explained that in Arthurian legend, the white stag is an animal that can never be caught and represents the quest for spiritual knowledge. Fascinated by her story, he eagerly asked her to tell him more stories, however their trip had ended and it was back to Canada. Two years had passed and he’d never forgotten her but rarely thought of her, believing he’d never see her again. That was the case until one snowy morning when he was out replanting trees that he saw it, a beautiful female White Stag. Encouraged by his memory of her story, he went out, intent on catching it but setting it free once he did. After two and half days of tracking he finally managed to find it and catch it with his bare hands, but to his surprise the soft, white fur morphed into clothes and there she was, the girl from two years ago, now cold and shivering without her fur to protect her from the freezing environment. After inviting her back to his house, she told him what she was doing way up here. She told him that after they met, she couldn’t stop thinking about him and as soon as she was 18 and could legally go and find him, so she did. They spent so much time together that one night when they were cuddling on the roof under a thick blanket watching the Northern Lights dance in the sky she turned to him and said, he would never forget this either, “I have an idea, I love you, and I know for a fact that you love me too, so here’s the deal, if you can catch me, like really catch me on your own by yourself, I’ll know you’re the one and…I’ll marry you.” Stunned by not otherwise surprised by her unorthodox proposal Jaxson agreed to her terms. She kissed him on the cheek before turning back into a white stag and vanishing off into the night. After three long years of tracking and following her throughout the Canadian wilderness, now 21 year old Jaxson Campbell finally managed to catch her and with his bare hands too. As she turned back into herself, he pulled out the ring his mother gave him and formally proposed. She giggled and of course said, “Took you long enough,” Which in her own way, meant ‘yes’. After they were married, they spent six long and happy years together in a log cabin Jaxson built himself, just for them. Until one fateful night when a heavy snowstorm had caused an avalanche on the nearby mountain to break through his house and sweep them away from each other. Jaxson determined to find his wife, literally tried to fight the avalanche itself, two steps forward, ten feet thrown back, but he never gave up. After many months of non-stop searching, into mourning, he had found a three page letter telling him everything she felt about him, how much she loved him, how he made her feel, and that if anything should happen to her he should move on and make another woman feel as happy, safe, loved, and special as he made her feel. The letter ended by saying there’s a camp where one can find their soulmate, signed ‘Your little White Stag’. Queen Cassandra woke suddenly as her husband ran in and pushed the doors open to their bedroom, bringing in a woodland nymph with him. On the bed, Cassandra laid sweating, her belly swollen from the child growing in her womb.

“But what if something happens to the child?!” The nymph looked at the king with fear in her eyes. The queen gently took the nymph’s hand and weakly smiled at her.

“It will be okay. Whatever happens, we’ll deal with it.” She reassured the young nymph.

The nymph nodded, biting her lip as she placed one hand on the queen’s forehead, another on the queen’s belly.

Her hands glowed as she murmured a chant under her breath. Almost immediately the queen felt better.

Laying in the arms of her husband, the queen weakly smiled at the nymph.

“Thank you…” She weakly said.

The nymph swallowed and looked up at the king before looking back at the queen.

“You’re welcome, your majesties.” She quietly replied back.

The queen looked up at the king and smiled at him. The king, who shared the same thought, smiled back and looked at the nymph.

“To share our gratitude, please stay with us in the palace. Or at least, feel free to be a welcomed guest here and come and go as you please.” The king offered.

“And, if you have any concerns about how the baby is doing, you can come check on the baby.” He added, to reassure the nymph’s previous concern about something happening to the baby. If anything happened, then they would at least have someone nearby who would know how to help their child.

A month later, the queen gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, who’s hair was snow white and eyes were a beautiful shade of grey, bearing little resemblance to his parents. Despite this, the couple happily welcomed the child into their lives, and named the child ‘North’. The couple was overjoyed that they finally had a child in their life, while also concerned that their desire to have a baby was so strong that they had harmed their child in some way.

Not even a year later, their fears were confirmed as the baby encased the nymph in solid ice.

After a month, the doctors had managed to dethaw the nymph, leaving the royal family and the nymph with questions they had never had before.

Once she graduated nursing school, she searched for a job and thanks to her power, high study scores, and great recommendations from others, Mia was recruited to be a nurse by the top hospital in the world. It was very quickly discovered that Mia's power used her own energy to heal others, this quickly became dangerous to her own health as her literal job was to heal people but she didn't let that stop her. Several interventions have been staged and even an attempted civil court order to fire her for the threat her job posted to her health. However due to the very nature of her powers, the hospital's lawyers fought the order and won, having proven how invaluable she was to the hospital as well as multiple patients' petitions to keep her on, accounting to her hospitality and compassion. The most recent incident finally convinced even the hospital that Mia had to be assigned a personal physician and take mandatory R&R vacations to keep her alive, having feared for her life.

Alana was born when Teo was four, and he always looked out for her when his dad was being an a-hole. The two of them were always super close, he let her do his nails and she let him win at soccer even though she was sooooo much better than him at it. Don't get him wrong, Theo was good, but she was way better. She didn't judge him for it, though. She never judged him. Even when he seemed to adopt some of their father's traits; angry, stubborn, cruel, he still loved her. Something their father couldn't say. All of their problems, the two could talk it out. As much as they loved their mother, she was an apologist for the 6'0 monster lingering around their home. And she was until the day she died.

Fighting his dad was not something Thee was willing to do. Maybe it was because he loved him, maybe it was a survival tactic, maybe it was both.

At least he was able to spend time away from him after their father was sent to prison shortly after their mom died. His dad had beat a guy up when drunk again, except this one took him to court for it, sending the two kids off to live with their grandparents. And there it was, finally. The new beginning they needed. Alana became an athlete at her new school, and Theo stayed who he was for the most part, just started partying more for a while. Part of it was to have fun, part to help him forget about the scars on his heart, making more on his liver. Plus, they got to have all of this family in their home, people that didn't hurt them. The kids' cousins with parents who can't afford them, the cousin who got kicked out for having a baby out of wedlock, their grandparents's "surprise kids" they had later in life, and every other misfit who's nuclear family was not enough. They taught him patience, strengthened his sense of leadership, and made him the man he is today. He loves guiding all of his little family, and his friendship with his older family. For once in his life, he's happy.
