Global Navigation

The Global Navigation bar lets you move around your settings and courses, and provides a quick way to get back to your dashboard.

You can get to your (1) Account Settings (2) Dashboard Overview (3) List your courses (4) Calendar [integrated with Google Calendar], (5) Inbox [automatically linked to your normal inbox], (6) Commons - which allows you to bring in materials from other teachers, and (7) the Help page.

Published Courses

Your published - or courses visible to your students, and you unpublished, or hidden, courses are found on your dashboard. You can rearrange the order by clicking and dragging the courses where you’d like them.

The sidebar

The sidebar on the right shows you a quick snapshot of upcoming items, assignments, and feedback.

You can also start a new course. While your main courses will be automatically brought in at the beginning of the semester, you can also create your own for clubs, sports, or testing purposes.

Account Options

Two areas under your account you may want to configure before schools starts are your notifications and profile. Notifications allow you to decide when/how often to receive updates and Profile is where you can change your picture.
