The AALU-PA is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) charitable membership organization dedicated to advancing the interests of Lincoln University PA (University) and its graduates.

Since July 1 a lot has taken place - as a recap I am extremely pleased to have worked with the previous administration on the execution of an MOU with the University that was signed on July 15. You see the six areas of our collaboration. I must say that our efforts are paying off in several of these areas.

We recently held a meeting with all chapter Presidents where we discussed the alumni toolkit that can be used to market the University’s Success, Mission and Vision and ensures that all of us are providing a consistent message when seeking funding from potential donors. Further, I created a process by which National and local chapters will provide to Institutional Advancement on a quarterly basis with a list of donors who have contributed toward a larger effort. For example, I will provide for the first quarter a list of everyone who contributed toward our total gift that will be presented to the University during Homecoming - this will enable Institutional Advancement the ability to provide soft credit to alumni; in addition to meeting our collective goal of alumni giving being at 10% of living alumni. We also had an informative presentation shared with us by Maya Mapp and Shaliyah Braxton in regard to how alumni can get involved with recruitment and admissions. Information was provided to us showing who our admissions representatives are by local chapter, admissions toolkit, alumni ambassador interest form, materials request form and most importantly training registration.
