We had 2 teams of 3 cadets each compete in the ASU Leaps Military Infrastructure Design challenge at ASU West on Saturday. Teams were challenged with tackling an infrastructure design challenge that shuts down the mission. They develop a threat assessment and solution to brief the commander and top 3 teams for a $2k scholarship award (each member). Award winning design/presentations are forward to Naval officials for real world considerations. Both our teams (3 members each) were awarded the scholarship for their presentations. We had one team compete last semester that won as well bringing our total to 9 winners! Awards will be distributed over the next few weeks after paperwork is completed.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
The Helios Foundations sponsors The ASU Impact Corps, which is a group of teachers making a meaningful impact on their students and communities at post-secondary. They use data from post-secondary student performance to identify the bright spots in public education.
