Challenge 1: Create 3 projects: one with your name, one with a partners name, and one with your group’s name. Save these project to a file on your computer.
Challenge 2: Learn about 1 block from each of 3 categories on the Block Palette (slide 8). Be prepared to share what you learned.
Challenge 3: Write and execute a program (to position 3 on the Hub) that moves your robot forward exactly one foot. Save this program as “Challenge 3” on your computer.
Challenge 4: Write and execute a program (to position 4 on the Hub) that moves your robot backwards 18 inches. Save this program as “Challenge 4” on your computer.
Challenge 5: Write and execute a program (to position 5 on the Hub) in which your robot makes 1 wide right turn. Save this program as “Challenge 5” on your computer.
Challenge 6: Write and execute a program (to position 6 on the Hub) in which your robot makes 1 pivot left turn. Save this program as “Challenge 6” on your computer.
Challenge 7: Write and execute a program (to position 7 on the Hub) in which your robot spins in place for exactly 3 full rotations. Save this program as “Challenge 7” on your computer.
Challenge 8: Write an execute a program (to position 8 on the Hub) in which your robot moves forwards, pauses for 5 seconds, and then moves backwards. Save this program as “Challenge 8” on your computer.
Challenge 9: Write and execute a program (to position 9 on the Hub) in which your robot lifts and drops its arm 3 times. Save this program as “Challenge 9” on your computer.
Challenge 10: Write and execute a program (to position 1 on the Hub) in which your robot makes 1 wide 90 degree right turn and 1 tight 90 degree left turn. and that uses one of the sensors you have learned about. Save this program as “Challenge 10” on your computer.
Challenge 11: Using port data from the canvas, write and execute a program (to position 11 on the Hub) to move your robot forward from one black line to stop on another black line. Save this program as “Challenge 11” on your computer.
Challenge 12: Program your Lego Spike to follow a line created by teacher. Save this program in position 12 on the Hub and as “Challenge 12” on your computer.

4-Step Challenge
Step 1: Move forward and stop at the black line (#1).
Step 2: Turn left and stop at the black line (#2)
Step 3: Turn right and stop at the black line (#3)
Step 4: Back up and stop at the black line (#4)
6-Step Challenge
Step 1: Spin in place 4 full rotations.
Step 2: Move forward 3 wheel rotations
Step 3: Stop and wait for 5 seconds
Step 4: Make a 90 degree turn to the right.
Step 5: Move backwards 1 foot
Step 6: Lift and drop arm 3 times.
Timed Challenge
Be the fastest robot to make it through the obstacle course.
Place your robot facing forward on the start/finish line.
