Create a detailed rubric for evaluating a written text on the topic of 'My Dream Holiday' for students learning Spanish. The rubric should align with the new GCSE for modern languages and evaluate the following criteria:

  • Communication and Content: Evaluate the ability to communicate effectively for various purposes across specified contexts. Assess how well the writing conveys meaning, expresses and justifies thoughts and opinions, and presents facts appropriately.
  • Linguistic Competence: Assess the accurate use of vocabulary and grammatical structures, including some complex forms. Evaluate the use of different tenses to describe and narrate with reference to past, present, and future events.
  • Range and Accuracy: Evaluate the variety of vocabulary and structures used, as well as the accuracy of spelling and grammar. Consider the use of more complex sentences and the clarity of the overall message.
