This House regrets the rise of “cancel culture.”

Information:

Cancel culture refers to the rapid withdrawal of support for individuals, celebrities, and corporations who have done or said something racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise offensive. Examples include the viral video of a white woman in NYC (nicknamed Central Park Karen) calling the police claiming a Black man was threatening her, leading to her losing her job and facing charges. While there is overlap between cancel culture and activist movements such as #MeToo, cancel culture predominantly focuses on individuals who are not explicitly committing crimes.
