The central idea is people can establish practices that can maintain and sustain a constantly changing planet.

  1. Human actions have consequences-

Humans are causing harm to the environment and the environment is retaliating back as a result we have Climate Refugees.

  • Interdependence between living organisms and the environment-

Climate Change can cause animals and humans to migrate.

  • Making right choices can lead to a sustainable planet

If we start taking action to save our planet we can help reduce the population of climate refugees.

Action

We are going to take action ourselves. We will ask all grades from Nursery to Grade 10 to choose what they want to do for a whole academic year for saving our planet. They can choose to become recyclers, energy savers or more.

Subject integration

In language integration I have done a newspaper report to bring awareness about climate change and how it impacts people and animals. I have also made a poster which I have attached here. In math I have made a bar graph on the natural calamities that make the refugees migrate.
