TESSERACT project

  1. Managed by Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL), for Department of energy High energy Physics

  • The Experimental Search for Superconducting Axion Readout with Advanced Cryogenic Technology.

3. Axion is a dark matter candidate.

HeRALD Project

  1. Helium Roton Apparatus for Light Dark Matter.

  • Designed to detect low-mass dark matter particles using superfluid helium as the detection medium

  • When a dark matter particle interacts with a helium atom, it can produce quasiparticles like rotons or phonons.

  • Then we use the TES, Transition Edge Semiconductor, which works on the principle of superconductivity.

Which is capable of reading low signals

Where will it be performed

Super KamioKande Experiment

Gifu Prefecture, japan

Kamioka Mines

KamLAND, Super-Kamiokande,

KamLAND-Zen,

KAGRA, XMASS, CANDLES

And a couple of more such experiments are being performed,

Inside a mountain at a depth of 1000m.

We need to go low, Temperature

  1. Cryogenic temperatures.

Cryonegics ~ mK

  1. Such temperatures are required for both, to maintain the Helium superfluid state and also for the TES detector.

Problem statement

  • Text files

  • Scalable and manageable in future

13 of 22

Slow controlled Sensor

1. Slow controlled parameters are measured “slowly”.

2. Database to store slow controlled parameters

Example : Pressure, Seismic activity , Humidity etc

3. Design DB, that is keeping future in mind.

DBMS

15 of 22

Why MongoDB?

  • Structuring of the database

  • Time series

  • Compatible with nearly all languages

  • A Cloud Based MongoDB, called the MongodDB Atlas.

16 of 22

About structure

  • No-SQL data base management

2 databases might be completely independent, unlike what we have in table , row from.

  • You can exploit this Particular feature to make pretty scalable database management routines
