Why education is important.

Education strengthens opportunity and economic power. Higher levels of education open doors to better jobs, higher income, and entrepreneurial options. Black men face structural barriers in the job market; education helps counter those barriers by expanding credentials, skills, and mobility.

Education strengthens families and communities. Educated Black men are more likely to contribute to stable families, vote, lead community organizations, mentor youth, and reinvest in neighborhoods. Education helps break intergenerational cycles of poverty and incarceration.
