Team Package - Mandatory

The team package is required and includes:

• Team suit (Jolyn Chevy - Med/Full coverage or Perry Fixed Back - Med Coverage, in Black with glitter Mustang)
• Team shirt (Bella and Canvas Jersey Women’s Cut)
• Team Picnic Tie Dye Shirt
• 2 personalized silicone caps

(swimmers only)

Team Fee $100 - Mandatory

• This year we will be collecting a mandatory team fee at the beginning of the season.
• This fee will help cover team expenses such as the picnic, goodie bags, snacks, mustang of the week, prizes, fire up dinners and includes a ticket for the end of the year banquet for each swimmer/diver
• This fee will also help to cover the cost of assistant swim coaches

Team Warm Ups - Optional to purchase

• The school will provide (used) warm-ups to all swimmers and divers. (If you STILL have one, PLEASE let us know)!

• If you prefer to purchase your own personalized warm-ups, you can order thru the Google form with Team Package
• Orders will be open from now until June 12th

​

• Orders will be distributed on the first week of practice

Fan Shirts - optional

​

• Parents - show off how much you love your swimmer/diver with a Fan Shirt

​

• Athletes often purchase fan shirts with the name of another athlete on the back, to show off their support of friends.

​

• You can order these through the google forms along with the team package

​

​

**If you are not sure who you want to “Fan” with - we will have a second opportunity to order in August!

Fundraising - Why?

• Fundraising supplements all activities planned for the year. The team fee is not enough to cover all the costs of running a swim team.

NHS Swim Clinic

• For incoming 4th through 8th graders - spread the word to your younger friends!
• This is a swim clinic to improve technique and skills for competitive swimming, not swim lessons.
• August 11-15 from 12pm-1pm at the Northville High School pool
• Cost: $100, includes swim cap

Parent Volunteering

We need parent help to run our team smoothly!

Attendance

• All absences need to be clearly communicated to the head coach (Rich/Molly)

​

• August practices do not count towards this attendance policy:

​

• Below 70% - not able to compete in swim meets, invitationals, championship meets, etc.

​

• 70-84% - able to compete in meet but not eligible for varsity letter

​

• 85-100% - able to compete in all swim meets, invitationals, championship meets, etc and eligible for varsity letter.

​

• Attendance percentage will include all morning, afternoon, and Saturday practices as well as all dual meets from September 2 - October 31.

​

• Attendance will be updated and posted on the 15th and 30th of each month (September & October).

​

• If you fall below the 70% attendance minimum for 2 consecutive attendance reports, you will be removed from the team.

​

Swimmers - Varsity letter is based off of time standards/GPA AND Attendance

• including all 5 categories of diving with
• 2 of each category
• third dive one of the 5 categories

• Compete in at least 1 sanctioned 11 dive meet
