AUXILIARY ANNUAL RBS OPERATIONAL ACTION PLANS
Event: Outdoor Expo Feb 4-6 at Slidell Harbor Center
Role: Flotilla 4-7 Auxiliary Event Coordinator Perry Ducote
Action: Set up interactive booth.
Goals: Pass out literature. Demonstrate inflatable PFD, damage control kit and kayak ditch kit. Sign up boaters for April 1 Boat America class. Recruit!
Planning: Contact event sponsor by December 01 to arrange comp space. Contact Recruiter by 15 December. Contact D8 RBSPS no later than 15 January to arrange demo items. Provide volunteers with their schedule no later than January 28.
Needs: Kayak for interactive display. “If Found” labels. Inflatable PFD and cartridges. Volunteers from other flotillas to staff booth. Coastie the Boat. Active Duty Volunteers. USCG Recruiter.
Assistance Requested: Request Division Commander help to arrange for Active Duty Volunteers/boat and solicit volunteers from neighboring Flotillas.
Concerns/Obstacles/Additional Info: Coastie The Boat in need of repairs.
