Any accidental deviation to an unauthorized website should be reported to the teacher immediately. Students will not eat or drink in the classroom when iPads are being utilized. PHONES WILL BE SILENT AND PUT AWAY UNLESS GIVEN PERMISSION.

This is an honors-level course and as a result students should expect the assignments and content to challenge their scholastic abilities and make them think and perform at a high-level as they read, write, analyze, and discuss notable works of literature.

Please understand that some of these assignments will be challenging. My goal is to provide you with constructive feedback when you turn in your assignments. If the result of an early assignment is not what you hoped from a grade standpoint please take time to read comments and to ask questions to understand where you can improve. Your goal should be to get better as the year progresses and be more comfortable with high expectations from writing assignments than students who haven’t taken this class.
