Founded in 2016 by Hao Tran and Guy Truong, Vietcetera is a digital media network headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City.
Operating as a hub for Vietnam, Vietcetera aims to be the content provider of choice for the emerging, increasingly savvy middle-class and white collar Vietnamese consumers, as well as for its dynamic international audience, made up primarily of overseas Vietnamese.
The company’s mission is to bring Vietnam to the world, and the world to Vietnam.

North Base Media leads $2.7M pre-Series A funding in digital media startup Vietcetera
“Ho Chi Minh City-based Vietcetera, a digital media network originally created for millennials and Gen Z, will broaden its target demographic after getting $2.7 million in pre-Series A funding. The capital was raised over two rounds this year, led by media-focused venture firm North Base Media.

The U.S Embassy x Vietcetera (2021)
Vietcetera followed U.S. Ambassador Dan Kritenbrink as he explored the storied streets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and rapped his heart out with Wowy during the "Khi đại sứ Mỹ chúc tết bằng Rap Việt!" shoot.
This project - his gift to the Vietnamese people for the Lunar New Year - and all that he has done to maintain trust and friendship between the U.S. and Vietnam are incomparable legacies he'll leave behind as he ends his tenure.
