Education: St. Mary’s University both undergraduate and graduate

Teaching: 21st year of teaching; 16 year in kindergarten, 5 years of special education

DOT Book

Empty out “left at home” side of folder daily

Notes for office or myself may be put in the folder

Homework will go home in the folders on the “bring right back side”, homework is not required but if they do it and bring it back the next day they will get to move their clip up

Book bag will be added to DOT Books with a book that is at an appropriate reading level for your child,

Your student should be able to read this book to you

After your student reads the book to you fill in the book log and I will send home new book

Behavior Management

Students color calendar daily

Tickets are pass out at the end of the day

Pink = 4 tickets Purple = 3 tickets

Blue = 2 tickets Green = 1 ticket

Students can turn in tickets any morning

Coupons are awarded for 25 or 50 tickets

Snack & Water Bottles

Please have your child eat a full breakfast every morning

Snack will be in the afternoon

Please pack a small healthy snack that is nut free and is separate from the lunch box so it is easily accessible

If your child will not be attending school please email me and Mrs. Lentino in the front office.

When a student is absent I will always send home all of the work they missed. It is up to you if you choose to have your child complete the missed work. If you do have them complete it I will look it over and go over anything your child did not understand, but they will not be penalized for not returning the work.
