In 2022, Anne began integrating artificial intelligence into her creative process—a move that sparked growing interest from institutions worldwide. This exploration culminated in Dips Fake (2024), a surreal AI-driven short film co-written, animated, and sound-designed using generative tools. The project marked a turning point in her practice and confirmed her role as a bold experimenter in the field of AI storytelling.
Anne is also represented by Partizan for her work as a director, producing music videos, animated shorts, documentaries, and branded content for major clients such as Lego, Ubisoft, Guerlain, MTV, Red Bull, and more. Her films have aired on Canal+, Arte, and Disney.
Beyond creation, she is regularly invited to give talks and lead workshops at universities, art schools, and festivals worldwide.
Anne Horel is a multi-award-winning digital artist and filmmaker based in Paris.
Born in 1984, she has been at the forefront of digital creation for over a decade, crafting a vibrant, polymorphic body of work that blends surreal collage, pop culture, and cutting-edge technology.
Her bold and uncanny aesthetic has been showcased internationally in prestigious venues including Art Basel Miami, the Palais de Tokyo, and Times Square. Her work has captivated audiences across Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Turkey, and the United States. She is currently represented by Julie Caredda Gallery in Paris.
Anne’s practice offers a sharp critique of hyperconnectivity, digital capitalism, and media saturation, all while embracing emerging creative tools. A pioneer in augmented reality and immersive digital art, she’s been creating AR effects since 2019 for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Spatial. Her creations in the metaverse and on GIPHY have earned over 2.9 billion views, establishing her as a standout voice in the digital art world.
