Do we see gender equality in the people filling important roles in our lives?
We predicted we’d see close to 50:50 gender ratios in Canada but we found that community influencers and decision makers in our area are mostly males.
We are exploring female change-makers. They inspire us to try to make the world a better place.

Some important things we’ve learned so far:
-Educating girls helps give them a voice to make the world a better place for all of us.
-We can help by learning about female change-makers and supporting females to know they can do anything they want to do.
-We were surprised that decision-makers and influencers in our community are not at least 50:50 male/female. We are learning about why this is important and that education of our generation can change this so it becomes 50:50 and there is gender equality in our community.
