    • First Year Fellows (FYF) is a full-year program that aims to take a selected group of aspiring First Year students and instill in them the foundational understanding of how to be entrepreneurs using the strengths of their creative processes.
  • Enrollment
    • Class size 10:1
    • 20 students per semester

What is the First Year Fellows in Creative Entrepreneurship?

  • $250 Materials fund / per semester
  • Learning the Art of Selling
    • Ideation and going to market training
    • In collaboration with classmates, design, create and sell products to raise money for a charity chosen by the cohort
  • Future Programming Art market
    • Allows you to make money directly from your sales

  • Students selected for this experience will live together in Leake Hall
  • Work and collaborate with fellow cohort members in entrepreneurial focused First Year Experience courses

  • Must display an interest in entrepreneurship

  • Clear entrepreneurial interest/spirit it shown

  • Program summary
    • First Year Fellows is dual course program split across two of your foundational course: Color Design (2D) and Fabrication (3D). Each course is done per semester giving students a full year’s time to create the foundations of their entrepreneurial goals.
