Your contracted users is the number of unique users that can access Canvas during your contracted year. | Number of distinct users that have logged in during the last 12 full months. | In the Statistics Page in Canvas, users includes the total number of teachers, students, observers, designers, and TAs who have logged in during the last 30 days. | Users are “Active” if they have an enrollment in an active course and have logged in at least once in the given month. |

Monitor Tab - LTI App Usage

What’s New
In Canvas Apps, a Monitor tab is available allowing Root Canvas Admins to see, filter, compare and understand which LTI apps are being used most.
Why It Matters�Simplifies workflows for admins, enhances access to security info, and improves overall accessibility. Allows educational institutions to easily view and analyze all LTI data, supporting more informed, data-driven decisions.
Note: Only data for the most commonly used LTI apps is surfaced for all Canvas Admins as part of this feature.

Differentiation Tags
�
What’s New
Instructors can use differentiation tags to assign specific content to customized sets of students. These sets are not visible to students. Admins can access tags through Canvas Data for reporting/analysis.
Why It Matters�Allows Instructors to organize students into custom groups based on learning needs, interests, or accommodations. Tags streamline assigning content, communicating, tracking accommodations, and filtering the gradebook—making personalized instruction easier and more discreet.

User Settings
Dyslexia Friendly Font
What’s New
When the Use Dyslexia Friendly Font feature option is enabled in User Settings, the Canvas interface and the Rich Content Editor display text using the OpenDyslexic font by default. If the feature is disabled, both OpenDyslexic and OpenDyslexic Mono are available as font options within the Rich Content Editor.
Why It Matters�Helps improve readability for users with dyslexia and supports a more inclusive learning experience.
