Concurrent Enrollment Process

Spring Courses

Students & Families Receive Information

Counselors will notify students and families about concurrent enrollment opportunities through communication platforms, e-mail, and information avenues.

Fall

Attend Workshop

Students must attend an in-person or virtual concurrent enrollment information session (or view the recorded presentation) to understand eligibility requirements, timelines, and responsibilities, as well as review course catalogs. Students must initiate the interest form.

College Matriculation - Support Workshop

Students attend a workshop with the high school counselor to review the process, course options, and confirm how the selected college course fits into their academic plan or graduation requirements. Students sign the DE/CC Acknowledgement Form. College courses must be equivalent to the area in which they seek graduation credit.

Approval Process

Students must complete the Concurrent Enrollment Form (or College Permission Form) and obtain signatures from: counselor, principal/designee, parent/guardians by the deadline set by the high school to ensure enrollment. Without the approval process, students may not receive credit towards graduation.

College Application & Matriculation Process

Students receive guidance on the deadlines for each partner college

Transcript Submission

Once college grades post, students are responsible for gathering their college transcripts and submitting them to the high school registrar to receive credit following their college process.
